ClixSense Strategy for Maximum Earnings (without Referrals)

Clixsense strategy for maximizing your earnings potential.

Yes, referrals will be your best bet for making the most possible with Clisense.  If you are in a position to get an affiliate link out to a few hundred people, small incremental payments will start flooding in daily.  However, most people are not setup for this type of affiliate marketing.

While a ton of referrals will make a big difference in your Clixsense account, it is possible to beat out the rest of the Clixsense competition in PTC, microtask, offer and survey earnings alone.

Clixsense Strategy for Maximizing Earnings.. without Referrals

You can still earn a nice chunk of extra cash by taking part in the many other ClixSense activities.  The key to maximizing your Clixsense earning potential (without referrals) is the surveys, the ClixAddon, and the Daily Checklist bonus.

Install the ClixAddon (and keep it active!)

Your ClixSense strategy requires the ClixAddon so you can stay on top of what surveys, tasks and ads are available to you.The Clixsense addon is crucial for your Clixsense strategy, as it lets you know what’s available as it happens.

If you’re not familiar with ClixSense add on (the ClixAddon), find specific details here.

With the 800 people who are logged into Clixsense at any given time competing for the next task, good deals go fast.  They will probably not be there a few hours later.

The ClixAddon tells you what’s happening immediately, in real time, so you can be one of the first ones there and never miss a thing.  The first batch of participants in any of these areas (surveys, offers, PTC ads, tasks) has the best opportunity for earning.  They get more offered to them, and first picked for limited qualification requirements.

Leaving the ClixAddon running for an hour each day also contributes to your Daily Checklist bonus.  But if you see it there all the time and get used to the information it is giving you, you’ll notice how valuable it can be to you.

Complete the Daily Checklist bonus EVERYDAY..

The Daily Checklist bonus is the other area you should focus on every day.  This bonus rewards you for staying active on the site and coming back daily.  The percentage paid to you is  based on your entire personal earnings total, not including referral earnings.

The checklist is easy to complete if you’re there trying to earn anyway.  If you plan to earn the checklist bonus daily, you should definitely reconsider the Premium Membership.

After a while, you’ll notice that the more you earn from the site, the bigger this bonus gets. The amount will become too significant to pass up.

Go Premium!

Once you start increasing your personal earnings and completing your daily checklist on a daily basis, you should really consider going for the Premium Membership.  It absolutely is not necessary, but it more than doubles your daily bonuses.

Premium will cost you $17 per year, but is very worth it if you’re active on the site.  That Daily Checklist above is based on your total daily earnings from PTC ad, tasks, offers, surveys and ClixGrid prizes.

With Premium, your bonus doubles, from 7% to 16%, for completed checklists, with no cap or limit on what’s possible.

Use the daily checklist bonus in your ClixSense strategy for maximum earnings.

So, if you have a $30 day on Clixsense, that’s an extra $4.80 added to your account at the end of the day (compared to $2.10 for a Standard Member).

Update your profiles for the Clixsense surveys As part of your Clixsense strategy, be sure to update your survey profiles to get qualified for the higher paying surveys.

Clixsense is overly generous with its survey rewards.  If you qualified for each and everyone of these, you’d be set!

But these are not always so easy to qualify for.  What you need to understand is which type of person each survey is targeting by the questions being asked.  If you know what’s behind the survey questions being asked, they are much easier to qualify for.

Check out this list of secrets that the market researchers don’t want you to know, then go update your profile to fit the ‘profile’ they’re looking for.  You’ll qualify more often for the highest-paying surveys.

And sign up for as many of the survey companies attached to ClixSense.  The survey offers will flood in through your ClixAddon and you’ll boost your earnings fast!

ClixSense Strategy Conclusion..

If you follow this strategy, Clixsense can be a serious money-maker for you.  Over time, the longer you stay and remain active, the more money you will make.  Sign up for ClixSense if you haven’t yet.

My powerful secret..

While ClixSense is part of my daily earning strategy, there is another site that triples the amount ClixSense brings in.  Find out my #1 source of online income here.

Making Money with Clixsense

Guide to making money with Clixsense.

Clixsense has succeeded in making this site a one-stop-shop for all your earning needs.  There is such a variety at Clixsense, it’s hard to get bored.  And if you do, there’s a lot of cool games you can play to compete against other members.  It’s my first and last stop of most of my days, and I think it will be yours too.

So, here’s everything you need to know about making money with Clixsense.

WHO can work on Clixsense?

  • Residents of any country can work and be paid through Clixsense, as long as you have an account with at least one of the three payment options available to you: Paypal, Payza and Paytoo.
  • All members must be at least 16 years old.
  • Strict one-account-per-household rule:  One account, one email address, per household, per IP address.

Different ways of making money with Clixsense..

View PTC ads

Clixsense is most known for its PTC, or “paid to click” ads.  Advertisers pay Clixsense to show their ad to a certain number of people.  In return, Clixsense pays you and me, its members, to view these ads.  Win-Win-Win.

However, there is only a limited number of these available, which are on a first come, first serve basis.  Viewing PTC ads will pay out about 1/2 cent to 2 cents each.  Earning with PTC ads is simple and the cash really adds up in the end.

Clixsense surveys are some of the highest paid surveys out there.  I am personally a survey freak–I cannot pass up a “10-minutes-for-$5 survey” no matter how busy I am.  And I can always count on Clixsense to have an abundance of these top-dollar surveys available.  Just be sure to follow these secrets to making the most money possible with surveys, so you’ll qualify more often and earn more cash.

Clixsense offers are hosted by other companies who are willing to pay for new customers to try out their product, service or website.  Usually these will require a credit card and sometimes even a purchase, but the reward for completing these is usually higher than anything else.

It is your choice which offers you choose to take part in.  It’s common (and acceptable) to give a credit card number to take part in a “free trial” offer, then cancel before your card is charged, and still be credited by Clixsense.  You just need to make sure you understand the specific rules and requirements of each offer before taking part.

Crowdflower microtasks

In case you’re unfamiliar with microtasking, these are tiny jobs for tiny payments.  Tasks usually take anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes and pay you for successfully completing them (generally 2 cents up to a few dollars).  There are a few microtasking sites around the web, but Crowdflower is the only one that spreads it tasks to third party hosts, like Clixsense.  You can find Crowdflower tasks at various sites, but Clixsense pays more for these than any other competing site.

Crowdflower tasks are on a first come first serve basis.  Some times they have plenty available and other times there may be none available to you.  Task earnings can really add up, so it is good to keep checking back daily.

Clixsense has an excellent referral program.  You get a percentage of each person who signs up under your personalized Clixsense affiliate link.  The commission is only about 5-10% per task or offer, which is small potatoes. But these add up.

If you sign up for Premium Membership, it becomes an 8-tier program, which means that you’ll get credit for your referral, and your referral’s referral, and so on up to 8 levels.  This can become very profitable with a good number of referrals.

Okay, so you can’t really earn with the games, but it’s a great selection that is worth checking out.  They’re fun, and addictive.  You can compete against other Clixsense members in popular games like Bad Eggs Online and Learn to Fly.

Clixsense games don't really help with making money with clixsense, but they're fun and addictive.

There’s also great potential for making money with Clixsense Bonuses

Daily Checklist Bonus

Aside from your regular earnings, you can get an added bonus each day if you complete all of the items on the daily checklist.  This is here to encourage users to try out all of the ways to earn.  There’s even a bonus-activity bonus for completing the checklist regularly.  If you complete it on day one, day two, and day three, you will receive the activity bonus on day three.  As long as you continue to complete it every day, you will get it every day.  If you miss a day, then that three day rule starts all over again.

This doesn’t sound like much, but if you’re earning as much as possible with offers, surveys, tasks, and PTC clicks, these bonuses can really add to your total.

For completing the daily checklist bonus and activity bonus, a Standard Member gets 7% of his total earnings, while the Premium Member gets 16%.  This takes into account earnings from PTC clicks, offers, surveys, and microtasks.

Account Type:   Standard   Premium
Daily Checklist Bonus 5.0% 12.0%
ClixAddon Extra Bonus ¹ 1.0% 2.0%
Activity Extra Bonus ² 1.0% 2.0%
Maximum Possible Bonus 7.0% 16.0%

ClixGrid Bonuses

The ClixGrid is a fun chance game to earn an extra bonus up to $10.  Every member gets 30 clicks on the ClixGrid per day (60 clicks for Premium members).  After you click each square, you are sent to an ad page where you are required to watch for 10 seconds (or 5 seconds for Premium Members). You are then told whether or not that square was a winner, and are allowed to backspace back to the grid to continue clicking.

The ClixGrid is not really a game of luck, but rather statistics.  The more you play, the better your chances are of winning small bonuses.  So play daily.  If it gets boring, you can keep a movie running on a side window to watch while you’re clicking on your ClixGrid window.

The Clixsense add on can be added to your browser to keep you in the Clixsense loop.  Installing it and keeping it active for an hour per day adds to your daily checklist bonus.

When installed, the ClixAddon displays a tiny button at the top right of your browser at all times, and flashes to tell you when new ads, surveys, offers or tasks are available.  A simple click on it brings up this shot:
ClixAddon is crucial to making money with Clixsense.

As you can see, it gives you detailed stats on your Clixsense account, including your tallied earnings, and what’s available for you as they come in.  On the right, it shows you notifications of surveys mostly, including the reward and time it will take you to complete each one.

I love the ClixAddon because it really maximizes my earnings.  I often forget throughout the day and it keeps me constantly reminded of ways I could be making money with Clixsense.

The ClixAddon is completely harmless to your computer.  It does not slow it down or cause crashes at all, and it does not bombard you with ads.

What is Clixsense Premium Membership?

Clixsense offers additional benefits for Premium Membership.  Cost of going Premium is:

  • $17 one-time annual fee
  • or $30 for a full two years

Premium Membership can boost your earnings in a few different areas, including:

  • Referrals–  Referrals earnings is the most significant difference you’ll notice by switching to a Premium Membership.  Commissions double on most referral activities.  See the chart below for exact changes in amounts.
  • Daily checklist bonus– Completing the daily checklist doubles the bonus earned from a possible 7% to 16%.  If you do everything on the list (which is easily attainable), you could earn 16% of your earnings.  Earnings for this bonus includes:  PTC ads clicks, ClixGrid prizes, completed CrowdFlower tasks and completed offers and surveys.
  • PTC ads–  Many Clixsense advertisers choose to only show their ads to Clixsense users who have established “purchasing power”.  This is why Premium members are usually offered more PTC ads than members who have not paid for Premium Membership.  But Clixsense warns extra PTC ads are offered with a Premium Membership, but are not guaranteed.
  • Extra Clixgrid Clicks–  Premium Membership doubles the amount of clix you get on the Clixgrid–60 per day instead of 30.  This in turn doubles your chances of winning.

Here’s the chart of Premium benefits posted on the Clixsense website.  Click the image below to see larger text.

Making more money with Clixsense Premium Membership.

How will I be paid with Clixsense?

Cash Transfer

Clixsense offers three ways to quickly and easily transfer your cash earnings: Paypal, Paytoo, and Payza.

  • Paytoo -(available in over 200 countries). You must sign up with Paytoo to find out if your country is on its list.

The great thing about Paytoo is that it does not require a bank account.  You can cashout your earnings (or add money to your Paytoo account) at an actual, physical location.  Check here to see if there’s one near you.

Check payment option

Checks are available to US and Canada members only.

Checks issued are only valid for 60 days.  If you lose it or for some other reason are unable to cash your Clixsense check, you can contact them to try and make other arrangements.  If you do not cash your check within 60 days, you will lose that money and Clixsense may even choose to close your account.  The do not issue refunds or credit money back to your Clixsense account after it has been issued through any method.

Clixsense minimum cashout amount?

Clixsense pays members upon request after they have reached the minimum limit in their earnings:

  • $8 for Standard members
  • $6 for Premium members

When does Clixsense pay?

This is one are where this site stands out from any other site.  Clixsense always pays what they promise and when the promise.  They are consistently reliable in this regard.

  • Cash Transfer payments are sent out on the Monday and Friday afternoon of each week (before 5pm eastern standard time).

If you request your payout by 2pm on a Monday or Friday, you will be paid the very same day.

Checks are mailed out on the 10th of each month, to the address you’ve listed on your Clixsense profile.

  • Check payments must be requested by the 7th for it to go out by the 10th.

Address/Identity Verification

US and Canada identity must be verified before being allowed to receive Paypal, Paytoo or Payza payments.  Your first requested payment is mandatory by check, sent with a four digit code which you enter into your account at Clixsense.  This verifies that the check was delivered and received at the address that you claimed was yours.  You must cash the check within 60 days to complete this verification process and be paid.

Clixsense Toolbar

The Clixsense toolbar seems pointless when you can get all you need from the ClixAddon.  I don’t recommend downloading the toolbar. Even Chrome advised me against it. This is just another one of those common, annoying toolbars, like the Yahoo and AOL ones, and it has no direct relationship to your Clixsense account, other than bombarding you with ads.  Plus, there is no cash incentive for downloading it.

Clixsense Research is completely separate from Clixsense.  ClixResearch is strictly surveys, and is mirrored to another site called ClearVoice.  These are reasonably-rewarded surveys offered to members of any country.  Payment terms are different.  They offer Amazon gift card, restaurant voucher or Payoneer cash payments after you reach their $10 minimum.  ClixResearch is offered as a button at the top of your Clixsense account page.  You must fill out a completely different (and very detailed) profile questionnaire to start taking surveys with Clixsense Research.

Making money with Clixsense can extend to the separate Clixsense Research site.

Likewise, there are many other survey hosting sites attached to Clixsense.  I suggest you sign up with as many as possible and fill out those initial profiles to get more surveys offered to you.  I look for those from Global Test Market, Samplicio and LiveSample first, as they generally pay the most for your valuable time.

PTC Virus and Malware Warning

Clixsense claims in its User Agreement that they scan each PTC advertisement for viruses and malware, but do not evaluate the actual outside landing pages that each advertisement will lead you if clicked upon.  They are also careful to add that they are not held liable if you get any type of malware or virus on your computer.  And unfortunately, this is easily the case with some of these ads you will see on the site.  Watch and earn, but be careful where you click.  Any clicks leading you to a site outside of Clixsense could potentially be dangerous to your device.

Member Suspension/Cancellation Warnings:

  • If you go 90 days without logging in, you will become inactive and Clixsense will close your account out with a zero balance, which will not be returned to you if you reactivate your account later.
  • No chargebacks allowed for any purchase made through Clixsense.  For any payments made to Clixsense (for PTC ad credits, Premium Membership, etc), Clixsense will automatically suspend your account and charge you the amount owed plus a $20 chargeback fee to be reinstated.  Even if it is warranted, you should always get in touch with Clixsense with any issues first.
  • Absolutely no use of VPNs or proxy server.  This is considered fraud for cheating offers.  I’m not sure exactly what that means, but they’re pretty serious about it, so maybe you shouldn’t do it.
  • And like most survey/offer sites, Clixsense does not allow multiple accounts of the same person, the same household, or the same IP address.  Ideally, doing this would allow a person to complete the same offers and surveys twice which is considered fraud.  They will cancel your account instantly and keep all your earnings.

Clixsense and the Better Business Bureau

Clixsense is not accredited with the BBB.  They have not applied for accreditation and are not required to do so.  However, users still have the right to send in complaints to the Better Business Bureau about a non-accredited business, and often do so to get their complaint on file and visible to the public.  But Clixsense has absolutely zero complaints against them, which is surprising due to the length of time it has been in business and the great number of members the site has.  Either way, I take this as a great sign that others have had as good an experience as I’ve had with the site so far.

Clixsense is an awesome site that I know you won’t be disappointed with.  It’s a well-established money-making site that pays generously and pays instantly.  Sign up, start earning and have fun!

If there something here that I didn’t cover, please ask.  I’ll answer.

Installing & Using Amazon MTurk Scripts – FOR DUMMIES!

 What are Amazon MTurk Scripts?

Amazon MTurk scripts can increase your hourly wage by saving you valuable time..If you’ve ever worked on HITs on Amazon’s MTurk, then it’s likely you’ve experienced the same little inconveniences that many others have.  All those extra clicks required on some pages can slow you down and waste your valuable time.

MTurk scripts can shave seconds (even minutes) off your in-between time, ultimately increasing your hourly wage.

Spripts are each designed by individual people as a solution to a problem–a problem that you’ve probably experienced yourself within MTurk.  And they have even made a plugin to install and operate these scripts (for non-techies like us) so we don’t have to learn how to write code!

We won’t be getting into all of that technical stuff here.. just what you need to know:

  • Which extension you’ll need to download..
  • Where to find your extension..
  • Where to find your scripts..
  • What each script can do for you..

Install your extension..  GreaseMonkey or TamperMonkey?

For Firefox, install:  GreaseMonkey.

Use GreaseMonkey Extension for Amazon MTurk Scripts on Firefox..

For Chrome, install:  TamperMonkey.

Use TamperMonkey for installing Amazon Mechanical Turk scripts to Chrome..

Install Your Amazon MTurk Scripts..

Once you find your script and click install, it is automatically added to your GreaseMonkey or TamperMonkey Extension.  You don’t have to do anything.

Be sure to be working in the browser where you want the script uploaded. You can install the scripts to both Firefox and Chrome, but you’ll need to do it twice.. once while you’re in Firefox, and again while you’re in Chrome.

Once they’re installed, you won’t notice it anywhere until you are actually on the MTurk website.  Then they will show up on your MTurk pages and automatically start doing their job.

You can search for MTurk scripts (or Turking scripts) at GreasyFork, but here are some of the best ones that should fix you right up..

While scripts will help with Amazon Mechanical Turk, there are lots of other ways to earn with microtasks and surveys at FusionCash.

A very valuable tool that shows you what other Turkers think about the requester you’re working for.  It also allows you to rate the requester yourself, according to your own experience.

Block Requesters

You can use this script to hide all HITS from any specific requester that you do not want to work for.  If the requester’s work is not worth the pay, or if they have bad reviews and you choose to stay away from them, this is the script for you.

Block Individual Requests

Displays an X at the end of the line where it says: “View a HIT in this group”.  Click the X to hide any HIT you don’t want in your search results, and it will disappear the next time your page is refreshed.  You have to look carefully for the X though, it is very tiny.

Show Captcha and Accept Button

Hate having to wait for the entire page to load before the captcha or the Accept Hit button shows up?  This script makes it load first, so you don’t have to waste anymore time.

MTurk HIT DataBase Testing

The HIT Database Testing analyzes past HITs completed, as well as pending and projected earnings with a progress bar, Requester notes and specific Requester blocking.

MTurk Expanded Header

This script displays your account info on MTurk pages, including Worker ID and transferable earnings..

Requester ID and Auto-approval Time

This script cleverly displays the Requester’s ID in case they decide to change their name and the HIT’s auto approval time.  I guess it happens!

There's no need for MTurk scripts when you complete microtasks on Clixsense..

This is a very cool tool that really comes in handy, once you learn how to use it.  It adds a list of filters to the left of the account page, and it alerts you for each filter you activate.  If you want to know when your favorite Requester lists new HITs, tell the TurkMaster and it will alert you right away.  You can be notified when new high-paying HITs are listed, or of a certain qualification level.  You can even change settings to alert you while you’re not working on MTurk.  In order to receive your notifications, however, you must always have a separate tab running your account page.

This is a pretty awesome script that does a great job of sorting through the HITs for you so you can get right to those that are worth your time.  It might take you a little bit of time and patience to learn how to work it though.  Here’s a great step-by-step tutorial that will get you started with HIT Scraper

Pending Earnings

This script always displays the amount you are owed for the work you’ve done, and what you can expect to be coming in (as long as they’re marked as successful by the Requester).

Today’s Projected Earnings

Similar to pending earnings.  It shows you your total day’s earnings that you’ve worked for–what you should expect to be paid for.

MTurk Dashboard Change Notifier

Many people find this a useful addition to the MTurk account page.  The Dashboard Change Notifier tracks changes of 12 different values from the last time you refreshed your page.  This includes your earnings such as approved, bonuses, transferable, and your HITs status, the number of approved, pending, rejected, and so on.  This can help you keep track of changes that aren’t immediately noticeable without doing the math.

MTurk Time Tracker

This is a helpful script that shows you the number of HITS, times each HIT, and offers estimated reward and hourly rate for your latest
activity, as well as the projected earnings and hourly rate for the day.  This works within the following Status Page Chart script..

Status Page Chart

This scripts adds a lot of substance to the Status section of “Your Account” page.  It gives more detail to the table of earnings, including those that the MTurk Time Tracker (from above) keeps track of.  It also gives a nice big line chart at the bottom of the page.  Very helpful..

ID Copy/Paste

Don’t you hate having to open a new tab every time a Requester asks for your Worker ID?  This script places a simple little button on the page for you to easily copy your Worker ID, so you can place it within the HIT as requested.  Can’t believe Amazon didn’t think to do this themselves!

Once you’ve installed all the scripts you want, you can see them in your GreaseMonkey or TamperMonkey plugin in the top right corner.

Tampermonkey for MTurk scripts appears in top, right corner of webpage.TamperMonkey

MTurk scripts are operated from the Greasemonkey extension in the top, right corner of your webpage.GreaseMonkey

When you click on the icon, it will appear that no scripts are running, unless you are in the MTurk site.  Then only certain scripts will be running on any given MTurk page, depending on what each is designed for.

MTurk scripts only show up when user is on the Amazon Mechanical Turk website. TamperMonkey MTurk scripts running.

MTurk scripts are only activated if the user is actually on the Amazon Mechanical Turk website.GreaseMonkey MTurk scripts running..

Amazon MTurk scripts make a better MTurk experience, but you could try out Clickworker for a completely different Turking experience.

Are the MTurk scripts safe?

All of the scripts on this post are perfectly safe.  They have been tested by many users over, and each one is running on my own computer right now.

However, some scripts can be harmful.  Scripts are designed and created by real people, and some people like to be malicious for various reasons.  Each script is really just a bunch of code telling your computer how to manipulate a web page.

Firefox and Chrome somewhat protect you by limiting the capabilities of the script.  They do not have as much power as an actual extension or add-on does when it comes to your computer.  But it is possible for a script to access any website, capture information you enter into web pages, and impersonate you.  So, you should really do your research when you’re looking to add a new script.  Check out the number of installs by other users and any reviews or ratings you can find.  If people are still installing it on a daily basis, it can probably be trusted.

Check out this great ebook.. It shows you how you can zero in on MTurk’s BIG money..

Let me know with a comment if there are any other valuable scripts I’m missing..

THE BEST Money Making Sites (How I earn an easy $50/day)

While learning how to earn an income online, I spent a long time learning the hard way.  I worked too hard and was ultimately undervalued, and worse, under-paid.  I feel like I’ve finally gotten into a rhythm with a great set of profitable websites and a steady in flow of earnings. Here I’d like to share with you my daily rounds through the internet’s best money making sites as well as other tips that can help you maximize your earnings potential.

How I earn $50 per day with this list of the best money making sites

If you’ve looked around this site at all, it should be clear that I am an avid Wealthy Affiliate advocate. WA is where I devote most of my time, and where I get most of my earnings.

But there is plenty of fast, easy cash to be earned online and I refuse to let it slip away when it is basically handed to me on a silver platter.

I have a longstanding goal to make $50 every day, which I think is very reasonable for just surveys, offers and microtasks.  I do not include any Wealthy Affiliate earnings in this $50 limit. In spending a few hours each day to achieve this goal, some days I go over, and some days I don’t quite make it to $50.  But it all equals out at the end of the week.

Here is my usual, daily routine, including all the best money-making sites I visit regularly for maximum earnings..

Top-dollar Surveys..

After checking in with Wealthy Affiliate (as this is usually the start to my day), I go straight to my email to see which opportunities have come to me.  I get a lot of invitations straight to my inbox, and you will too just by being signed up.  It’s usually very difficult to even try to qualify for it all, so you’ve got to be picky and make a beeline for those highest-paying offers first..

Earn 50 dollars per day with Global Test Market on your list of the best money making sites to visit.

Global Test Market

I specifically look out for survey invitations from Global Test Market. There are always a lot of these that flood my inbox.  Most are average $1.50 to $2.00 each, but there’s often some $4 to $6 surveys that I jump on immediately. Depending on my free time ahead of me, I will often spend an hour or two just going from survey to survey at Global Test Market. It’s so easy to stack up the cash there, it’s addictive.  My qualification rate with this site is always surprisingly great, and when I get on a roll, I don’t want to stop. Most of my survey earnings come from this site.

  • Earning potential: $50 per week
  • 1000 point cashout minimum ($40)
  • Quick Paypal payments (within 7 days)

Pinecone Research is one of the best money making sites on my list that I use to earn my $50 per day

Pinecone Research

I also keep an eye out for surveys from Pinecone Research, as their email invitation is the only notice you’ll ever receive from them for new surveys offered. I don’t make much here–maybe about $12-$15 each week (about 4-5 surveys/week). But Pinecone is such an easy site.. You are automatically qualified for each invitation they send you. They pay a flat $3 for every survey offered (about 15 minutes each), and they pay cash directly into my Paypal account only a few days after I ask for it. I never leave Pinecone waiting after I’m invited!

  • Earning potential: about $12 per week
  • $3 cashout limit
  • Quick paypal payments (3 days)

FusionCash is one of the best money making sites online, helping me to earn $50 per day online

After I’ve answered to all of my emails, I go down my list of favorites. I start with FusionCash. FusionCash only holds about 20-30 surveys at any time, and most are low-to-average. BUT they do pay top dollar for those higher paying surveys. I look out for the $4 and $5 surveys, and there are usually about 3-5 each day. I try out for each of these and complete them if possible. FusionCash surveys are the reason I like this site so much. They’re very generous.  If I have loads of time on my hands, I will go back to FusionCash throughout the day and work on their microtasks. FusionCash pays very well for Crowdflower tasks.

  • Earning potential: $10-30 earning potential per day with surveys, offers and microtasks.
  • $25 cash out limit
  • Paypal, direct deposit, or check payments on 20th of each month.

Earn $50 per day with the best money making sites on this list.

Vindale Research

Vindale Research is another stop on my list. This site offers a lot of low paying surveys, but always have some great ones mixed in there each day. I pop in here multiple times a day and check for those $3-$5 ones, and complete them whenever possible. This site has a huge $50 minimum before you can cash out which makes it kind of a slow process.  But you can earn extra by referring a lot of friends, which Vindale is EXCELLENT for. They pay a whopping $5 for each and every person who signs up under your name! So if you’ve got a lot of Facebook friends and Twitter followers, sign up with Vindale, and send out a link. You could make a lot of easy cash this way.

  • Earning potential: $5-$20 per day just taking surveys
  • $50 cashout limit
  • Paypal payments issued on 15th of each month

Vindale Research (US and Canada)

Work towards earning 50 dollars per day with Clixsense, one of the internet's best money making sites online.

ClixSense is a pretty awesome site. I usually pop in a few times throughout the day, and end up spending about an hour playing around, taking surveys, clicking on the grid for bonuses. These little things aren’t much, but they’re fun and very addictive. ClixSense offers the highest rewards for Crowdflower microtasks, and they pay top dollar for surveys. Qualifying for those $4 and $5 surveys seems to be harder at ClixSense than anywhere else, though.

You’ll notice a lot that you’re being offered the same survey through different sites. Sometimes after ClixSense disqualifies me for a survey, FusionCash qualifies me and lets me complete the same exact survey, even though I just gave the same answers as before. It’s weird. But ClixSense makes up for it with all the rest of the ways to earn here. Cashout minimum is only $8, and it is very possible to get paid two or three times a week here, straight to your Paypal account.

  • Earning potential:  $5-$20 per day just on surveys
  • $8 cash out limit
  • Quick Paypal payments every Wednesday

TIPS for earning more with surveys…
  • Keep in mind that some survey sites might not start offering you their highest paying surveys until you’ve put some time in with them first. But signing up and completing as much as you can with them—as much that is worth your valuable time—will only help you in the long run.
  • If possible, try not to worry about working harder on some sites just to reach your cash out limit. As long as you keep up this routine, the money will always be flowing in soon enough.
  • You’ll notice that certain surveys (the top-dollar surveys) will be offered to you multiple times through multiple sites. Sometimes you’ll be allowed the opportunity to complete the same survey a second time, depending on who’s hosting it. Otherwise, if you notice this, you should check to see which site is offering the most for the same survey. I find that, while the same $5 survey will be offered to me through FusionCash, Vindale, and ClixSense, it is FusionCash that almost always offers me that extra quarter or .50 for it. That’s not much, I know, but it all adds up!
  • Check out these secrets that the market researchers behind the surveys don’t want you to know.  Understanding why they ask the questions they ask will help you to qualify for more surveys more often, which will equal to higher earnings.

Crowdsourcing & Microtasks

MTurk is one of the best money making sites online. With time leftover, I complete as many microtasks as possible to round out my desired earnings for the day.  I’ve pent a lot of time with AmazonMechanical Turk and have finally gotten down a strategy of choosing only the valuable microjobs–those where the task is actually worth the reward in respect to the time it takes to complete.  This seems hard to do at first, because it is hard to imagine that the measly pennies you’re offered for each task could add up to anything.  But they really do.  And the more tasks you work on, the better the tasks are that are offered to you.

Clickworker is one of the best money making sites online for earning quick, fast cash.ClickWorker and Microworkers

Clickworker and Microworkers are both great sites that pay more for most microtasks, but they’re very different than the HITs on MTurk.  Because the tasks are hosted mostly by website owners and new business startups, thereare a lot of “check out my stuff and like it on Facebook” types of tasks.. They’re simple, though, and usually offer a much better incentive.

Money-making Apps and Membership Websites

One of my favorite membership “Get-Paid-To” site is Cashcrate.  These people offer so many different ways for you to earn while on their site! Taking surveys, completing offers, watching videos, completing microtasks, shopping rewards, downloading new apps, etc.  You won’t get bored, I promise!

Download and install research apps on your mobile or desktop computers to earn rewards and cash payments for keeping it installed!

  • SavvyConnect – Sign up with SurveySavvy and get paid $5 per month for each device you’re connected with.  Plus, if you have the app installed on three devices at once (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.), you will start to get random invitations for seriously high-paying studies! Read some of mine here.

So.. that’s my average day in trying to reach my goal.  I spend a maximum of about 3 hours online with my focus on earning that $50 for the day.  It’s really easy.. really.  Once you’re signed up with them, most will reach out to you with offers and invitations.  You’ve just got to show up.  So sign up with these sites and make your $50 today.

With an extra hour or so a day, you can be working on your long-term success with your very own website.  Check out this post about how to generate an income with a blog, and find out how you can test out your very own website, for free!

Are there any other sites that you know of that I should add to my list?  Please let me know with a comment..

FusionCash Reviews/Complaints

Another great site to earn fast cash: FusionCash. Check out these Fusion Cash reviews / complaints.

Offer sites are a great way to earn fast cash online.  They offer many different ways to earn, which keeps it interesting.  I spend time at multiple offer sites each day, but FusionCash is one that I prefer over the rest.  And here’s why I think you will too..

My FusionCash Reviews / Complaints

Not only can you earn fast cash, FusionCash keeps it interesting with various ways to earn..

Fusion Cash surveys..

Most of my FC earnings come from the Fusion Cash surveys.  FusionCash offers the highest-paid surveys of any offer site, and most survey sites.  Because offer sites split their survey rewards with you, they usually don’t offer much.  Obviously, they can make more money themselves if they keep the larger percentage.  This is where this site truly stands out–Fusion Cash surveys pay top dollar compared to any other offer site.  There usually are not that many surveys, maybe about 25 or so available at one time.  But I always pop in there and spend some time everyday completing those $4 and $5 ones. After a day or two, new ones are added and become available to me.   Plus they throw you a penny as a disqualification bonus each time you don’t make the cut.  Not much but it all adds up very quickly..

Fusion Cash Surveys is how I earn fast cash on FusionCash. They pay top dollar compared to other offer sites. Check out these Fusion Cash reviews / complaints.

Don’t forget to use these secret survey tips to get those top-dollar survey invitations.

Fusion Cash offers with competitive rewards..

No Credit Card Required offers include paid-to-sign-up with advertising websites, usually other survey sites or newsletters.  Other offer sites will pay you .25 – .50 cents for these easy offers, but FusionCash pays $1 and up for each one.  It’s easy money–sign up and get paid.  Just be sure to click on the tab that says “no credit card required”.

There are also paid-to-purchase offers, where you only get rewarded for buying something or signing up for a service with a monthly fee.  Sometimes, it is even possible to make a profit with these.  For example, right now there is a LifeLock offer on FusionCash, where you get $12 if you sign up and pay the first month’s $9 fee.  If you cancel after one week, you’ll still be out the $9, but you would have been rewarded $12 through FC, making you an easy $3 profit.

Unfortunately, with any offer site, after you’ve completed all the offers that are relevant to you, you have to wait for new ones to be added, which is a slow process.  Luckily, Fusion Cash has many more ways to earn while you’re waiting.

After reading through these Fusion Cash reviews/complaints, check out the awesome referral program at Vindale. It's an easy $5 for each friend who signs up through you.

Fusion Cash Crowdflower microtasks..

Read my Fusion Cash reviews/ complaints, and sign up to complete Crowdflower tasks to earn fast cash at FusionCash..

For anyone unfamiliar, microtasks are tiny jobs usually lasting about a minute or less each, with a tiny payment after each one completed.  The more you complete successfully, the better-paying tasks you will qualify for.

Crowdflower is one of these microtask companies that allow microworkers to spread their work around to different sites, depending on which site has more options for earning, and/or a payment option that is most beneficial to the user.  There are many places to complete Crowdflower tasks, but most of those sites cut your percentage down dramatically.  Fusion Cash offers the second-highest rewards for Crowdflower tasks (next to Clixsense).  Plus, U.S. and Canada residents can work and easily cash out through Fusion Cash, making it a fun, convenient option.

Lots of other ways to earn, including:

  • Paid Videos..  Watch short advertisement videos for tiny payments (about 2 cents each).
  • Listen to radio..  listen to live radio and every 30 minutes you’re given a code to which you enter into FC to earn tiny payments..  You can do this all day long in the background.
  • Paid to Click..  Visit certain web pages, click on an advertisement and get a small micro payment (usually about .15 cents or so).
  • Shopping..  You can get cash back percentages if you make your purchases through Fusion Cash’s Cashback Mall.
  • Mobile/Tablet..  Get paid small payments (.05-.50 cents, generally) to download apps or games.
  • Paid to call..  This is good cash ($2 each), but you’re required to call a company (like a flooring or plumbing service) and sit through a salespitch.  Still easy money..

Cash out with Fusion Cash..

The minimum to cash out is only $25, and you get an instant $5 bonus as soon as you sign up.  It’s so easy, you register, confirm your email, and you’ve got a free $5.  Then you only have $20 left to earn before you can cash out that first time.

Once you reach the FC’s $25 mark, you can request your payout.  The first time you cash out is when they will try to verify your identity.  At this point, they want to make sure you Another great site to earn fast cash: FusionCash. Check out my Fusion Cash reviews / complaints.are who you say you are before they pay you.  Once you verify your account, you’ll never have to do it again.

Everyone is asked to verify by home telephone service, but if this is not possible, you are given your second two options: cell phone or physical identification.  Please keep in mind that only one of these three methods is necessary.

  • Landline telephone verification – Must be a home service, not VOIP (like MagicJack)
  • Cell phone verification – Must be a major service company, not pay-as-you-go (like Tracfone)
  • Driver’s License or other identification  (scan and email, or fax copy to them)

After you’re verified, your payment request is processed and scheduled to get to you on the 20th of the following month.  So, if you request payment on December 30th, your payment will be scheduled for January 20th. If you request payment on December 1st, you still won’t get your payment until the 20th of the following month.

  • Paypal payments are available for US and Canada residents.

Paypal payments almost always come in a few days sooner than the 20th, though.  On around the 17th or 18th of the month, FusionCash sends me an email saying that my payment was processed with Paypal and I should be receiving my funds by the 20th.  Paypal usually acts much faster than this, giving me my cash the same day or the next day.

Other payment options include:

  • Check..  US residents only.  Check will be mailed to your home address around the 20th of the month upon request.
  • Direct Deposit..  US residents only.  It’s simple to link your bank account with Fusion Cash.  It can be a checking or savings account.

With these three payment methods allowed, most members can find an option that suits their needs.

To cash out, you must have $15 worth of non-bonus credits.

While most of your FusionCash earnings will come from non-bonus credits, like surveys, offers, microtasks, videos, you will usually have some bonus earnings in there too.   Bonuses include:

  • $5 sign-up bonus
  • Survey disqualification bonus  (.01 cent for each disqualification)
  • Friend referrals  (various bonuses for referring your friends)
  • Forum posting bonus ($3 per month for participating in the forum discussions)

It is not easy to get the full $25 cash out limit required with strictly bonuses, so you shouldn’t have to worry about this requirement.

Your payment might be delayed if..

  • You haven’t completed the telephone verification, or its equivalent (from above).
  • Your first and last name on your Fusion Cash account is different than the first and last name registered to your Paypal account.  If these names do not match, you can always select the “check” or “direct deposit” option instead.
  • You wait too long to request a cash out.  All rewards expire in six months, so as long as you request your cash out by the 180 day mark, you’re good.

Your payment might be completely forfeited it..

  • You have two accounts open on the same IP address, which means anyone in the same household as you, or anyone in the next door neighbor’s house using the same wifi connection.  They can (and probably will) cancel your account, and never pay you your money owed to you.  And FYI, this is the same with any survey or offer site.  They have very strict rules against this.

FusionCash Complaints:

All survey/offer sites have their downfalls..  Here are my Fusion Cash complaints.

  • All earnings have an expiration date.

You must be sure to cash out any money you’ve earned within 6 months or you lose them.  Fortunately, they make it easy to earn your money quickly so this should not be a problem.

  • You can’t get back into a survey once you exit your browser.

Unfortunately, if your Mozilla or Chrome crashes occasionally, like mine do, you lose those 10 or 15 minutes you just invested in that survey.  And you’re never offered the same survey again, finished or not.  While this is a pretty common occurrence with most survey sites, it’s still infuriating every time you lose a survey this way.

FusionCash and the Better Business BureauFusion Cash reviews / Complaints. Earn fast cash with FusionCash, a trusted company accredited with the Better Business Bureau. My Fusion Cash reviews complaints. You can earn fast cash with FusionCash, a trusted company with an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

FusionCash is BBB accredited, with an A+ rating.  There have been 16 complaints filed against the company in the past three years, but they seem to respond very quickly and have made every attempt to resolve each complaint.  Most of these complaints were basically about not getting payment on time, or at all.  Each one was followed up by Fusion Cash with either explanation or resolution.  Here are a few of the Fusion Cash complaints..

  •  Member was refused Paypal payment, because Paypal account-holder name did not match FusionCash account name.  These members were told by FC that the first and last names must match on both accounts, or they would have to be paid by check or direct deposit instead.
  • Member was refused Paypal account because could not verify identity.  FusionCash instructed them to email or fax image of driver’s license or other identification for verification.
  • Member was refused payment on certain (or all) payments because rewards expire after 6 months.
  • A member was refused payment and permanently cancelled by FusionCash for having two accounts open in the same household, which is strictly forbidden by most survey/offer sites.

Fusion Cash Reviews / Complaints.. Sign up and get your free $5.Conclusion..

As long as you make sure you use your real name on your Fusion Cash AND Paypal account, and cooperate with FC to verify your identity, you shouldn’t have any issues with Fusion Cash.  Other than losing out on a few surveys because of my browser issues, I have never once had a problem with them or had to chase them down for my money.  They’ve always credited my account promptly when it was due, and each time I have cashed out with them, my Paypal account was credited near the 20th of the following month, as promised.  I absolutely recommend FusionCash to anyone who wants to earn some fast cash online..

Better than Mechanical Turk? Microworkers vs MTurk..

Microworkers better than Mechanical Turk? See who stacks up and who stands out @ Microworkers vs MTurk. The idea of being able to visit a website anytime of the day and just start working to earn actual money is just fascinating to me!   I could sit here for 8 hours and do the work nonstop, or I can do little jobs here and there when my toddler takes one of his rare 20-minute afternoon naps.

Microworkers is another one of these awesome sites that allows me to work as little or as much as I want, at my own pace.  I originally left Microworkers out of my list of Amazon Mechanical Turk alternatives, but have since starting spending a lot of time there and decided to share it with you as another great option.

Need something better than Mechanical Turk?

Here’s a side-by-side comparison review of Microworkers vs MTurk..

Who can work at Microworkers?

Anyone can sign up to be a Microworker. Within each task you open, it tells you which countries are acceptable. For example, there was a task asking you to go to a new website, Like it, and leave a comment. For this job, the Requester specifies that he will only accept United States residents for this job. Perhaps it is a language issue. But many of the tasks include multiple countries, or any country, as qualified.

Better than Mechanical Turk?

With MTurk, only US residents can work and be paid.  So this is a big plus for

FusionCash may be better than MTurk for completing microtasks..

Easy sign up process?

It was so simple to sign up.. Just go to and click Register..  Fill in a few blank spaces and confirm your email address and you’re in—ready to work. And all future logins are simple, one-click-entry as well.

Better than MTurk?

With MTurk, you must apply and wait a few days for approval.

How do you get paid?

The payout threshold is $9. The first time your reach $9, as a new member, you request a payout and they mail you a pin number to your home address. This is sort of a way for them to verify your identity. When you get your pin, you enter it into your Microworker account.

Then you will get your payment within a week to ten days, at your preferred method. Microworkers pays out through:

  • Paypal
  • Moneybookers
  • Dwolla

After this initial cash-out, future payments will come faster. They claim it will take about 7-10 days, but I have had a payment show up in my Paypal account within 24 hours. Usually it is not that quick, but it rarely takes the full week.

Better than MTurk?

I love the easy Paypal option. At MTurk you have to have your bank account attached to your Amazon Payments account if you want to remove your cash, or spend it anywhere other than Amazon. Moneybookers and Dwolla are also both widely used, so this makes it easier for more people to cash-out.

A cash-out fee, really?

It should also be noted that Microworkers does take a percentage from your earnings based on your method of delivery. They do not announce this at all until it is time to cash out, so it does come as a bit of a surprise. But they claim that this fee covers the fees charged to them for using their service. Here are the percentages taken out from each requested cash-out payment sent through these forms:

  • Paypal: 7.5%
  • Moneybookers: 6.5%
  • Dwolla: 6.5%

Better than MTurk?

Yes, the cash-out fee sucks.  But because the pay is higher, and more convenient payment method options are given, like Paypal, I can overlook this cash-out fee. It seems to work out better in the end.

What types of jobs are there?

Most of the jobs on Microworkers are provided by small businesses, or blogs and other website owners who want cheap business “help”, like facebook likes, Google +1’s, Tweets, and comments posted on their sites. All of this helps a website owner get more traffic to their site, which usually equals to more business for their businesses.
Any job you’re working on, from the Basic or Hire Group, will be grouped into one of seven different categories. Here are these categories, each one including an example of a job task that you’d find there.

  • General: Go to Google Play Store, download a specific app and leave a positive review. OR participate in a free trial, such as those that are offered for pay at sites like InboxDollars, FusionCash, and ClixSense.
  • Facebook: Do a Google search for a specific Facebook page and Like it.
  • YouTube: Find a specific video and like it, or leave a comment.
  • Bookmark: Bookmark pages of other sites on a bookmarking site you’re active with, such as Digg, Reddit, or StumbleUpon.
  • Twitter: Promotional reTweeting for small businesses, and blogs and websites.
  • Voting: Rating videos or articles or voting up contest entries.
  • Blogs/Websites: This category is for those who have their own active websites. An example of a task in this category is another website or blog wanting other website owners with better Google ranking to write a short review on their site and link back to them, or add an advertisement for the Requester’s business on their site.

Better than MTurk?

So, while these aren’t your typical (or really even respectable) microjobs like those you would find on MTurk, they are simple to do (as long as you’re not too choosy about what your friends think, or your general social standing on Facebook and Twitter), and they generally pay a bit more than the average MTurk HIT.

Will you qualify for all the jobs available?

There are two types of Microworker jobs: “Basic” and “Hire Group”. Microworkers decides which jobs are suitable for which workers, based on the number of jobs completed and success rate.

Basic jobs available are easy tasks that anyone and everyone is considered to be qualified for, as long as you’re in the specified country.

Otherwise, you must be chosen for Hire Group tasks. The Hire group jobs are those that the Requester—the person hiring for the task to be completed—deems higher qualifications are necessary to get the job done in the way he or she wants it.

The Crowdflower tasks at Clixsense may be better than Amazon's Mechanical Turk..

How do you become qualified for Hire Groups?

Microworkers skill levels are calculated with a simple star rating system. Basically, it’s a hit or miss scenario. If you do the tasks and complete them successfully, you get your stars.

After accepting and successfully completing 10 jobs, you receive one star. Each category has 5 stars, so that makes 50 tasks in each category to earn all of your stars in that category.
Once you earn your stars, it is difficult to lose them. You would have to fail half or more of your ongoing tasks to lose a star. So, just stay active and complete your tasks to keep your stars.

When the Requesters decide to choose more qualified members for their Hire Groups, they are shown a screen of the members who have earned all of their stars. It is up to them to decide to choose you based on your “qualification” in that particular group (General, YouTube, Voting, etc).

Better than MTurk?

With MTurk, you must pre-qualify with success rate, tasks completed, or more specific per-requester qualification tests.  It’s a little more rigorous process with MTurk, but both are comparable.

How much can you make with Microworkers?

So this is kind of interesting. As a Requester, you get a lot of detailed information on Microworkers and their earnings. From this, I was able to get some accurate insight into what others are making, on average, and what seems to be the most possible.

Better than Mechanical Turk? Here's a good look inside Microworkers..

Through the Requester’s portal, I examined some of the total earnings paid to those workers who have been active for a while. With as much detail you’re given about each worker, you can get an accurate insight into possible earnings for yourself.

Better than Mechanical Turk? A look into a Microworkers average earnings.

This member has made quite a bit with the site, but still only averages about $200 each month. I calculated about 20-25 others this same way, and most of them are averaging between $150 and $200 per month.

The reason for these workers not making more is likely because there is not that many tasks available. All of the workers here have full stars in each category, which tells me that they are not being picky and choosy on their tasks—they’re probably doing as many as possible, and only averaging that much per month.

So, Microworkers is not a good spot for earning your entire rent payment, but it can certainly add a big chunk to it.

Better than MTurk?

MTurk has many more HITs available than Microworkers has jobs at any given time, so that gives MTurk better earning potential. However, the Microworkers jobs offer more per task, which means you’ll get paid a bit more from an hourly wage standpoint. Although, Microworkers alone won’t pay the rent..

Clickworker hosts thousands of microtasks and is available for members of any country. Sign up and see for yourself if Clickworker is better than MTurk.

Microworkers and the Better Business Bureau..

Microworkers vs MTurk.. Is Microworkers better than Mechanical Turk? You decide..

Microworkers is a company based out of Dallas, Texas. And while there is no Better Business Bureau file information under this name, they do have a rating for the same company’s incorporated name: WebLabCenters.

According to the BBB, there have been only two complaints against WebLabCenters in the past three years, which were both directed at Microworkers.
One complaint was regarding money that was revoked due to an identity or fraud issue, and the other was for a password issue.

Compared to other similar businesses online, two is a surprisingly low number of complaints. However, the Better Business Bureau gave them an “F” rating because the company did not reply, or try to fix either one of those complaints.

My Microworkers complaints..

I only have one big complaint with Microworkers..

  • Low number of tasks available at any time.  It would be an ideal spot for earning otherwise.  But you do all you can do, and then you have to fill the rest of your income gaps at other places, like MTurk or Clickworker.  While MTurk has plentiful quantity but boring jobs, Microworkers has interesting jobs, but not enough of them.

There are a lot of complaints surfing the internet from users saying they did not get paid by Microworkers, but I have personally gotten paid three times over directly into my Paypal account, without a hitch.

Furthermore, the Better Business Bureau report would have been crawling with complaints if they were screwing everyone over. I really believe that there must have been underlying reasons for those people not getting paid. Or perhaps, the company has undergone a rehaul lately and has become more organized and efficient.

My conclusion and ultimate opinion is that Microworkers can be trusted. Just be prepared for an identity verification stall at the beginning, with the pin coming in the mail. This could delay things. Otherwise, it’s a great site to get in, get out, and get paid.

Try out a free blog at Wealthy Affiliate, and see if you like it better than MTurk..

Global Test Market's high pay and low minimum threshold makes this a good spot to earn quick easy cash online.

Global Test Market – I spend a lot of my time at this site.  There are loads of surveys always available, and pretty generous payments offered for most.  They use points systems, and each 23 points is worth about one dollar.  For the $100 Paypal cash option, you need 2300 points.  But you can cash out with some gift cards instead that are worth a little more per point.  Most surveys average about $1.50-$5.  And with all the surveys available, it is so easy to cash out very quickly here, within a few days.  Your Paypal payment shows up in 7 days or less.

Pinecone Researchpinecone research is a great way to earn quick easy cash online.. – $3 payout for each and every survey..  Surveys offered approximately once or twice a week.  Check payment mailed to you the first time, but Paypal is an option each time afterward.  Cash out possible within a week, after at least one survey is completed.

MintVine – $1 to $4 surveys on average, or about .50 cents per five minutes of length.  Once you get started at MintVine, the offers start coming more and more, up to 5 or 6 per day in your inbox.  One of my personal favorites.  Minimum $10 Paypal cash payment possible in 2 to 3 days.

MySurvey – Simple points program, where 100 points equals 1.00.  Easy sign-up.  Reasonable pay for completing surveys and offers.  My favorite part of MySurvey though is the quarterly sweepstakes!  This is one of those rare sites where winning the sweepstakes is actually a possibility!  More than 100 winners are chosen and prizes range from $10 – $500.  Completing surveys, mini-polls, and the normal profile questionnaires gets you multiple entries into the sweepstakes. Exchange points for reward cards, like Macy’s, Applebee’s, and of course Paypal cash options.

Mindfield Online – $.50-$5 surveys, on average.  Most offered are low-pay, but stay on their good side and they’ll start sending you $5-10 surveys more frequently.  Usually plenty of surveys available on a daily basis.  Only $5 payout threshold, with check or Paypal cashout options.  These surveys take a few weeks to be credited to your account, though.

Vindale Research – High $50 payout threshold limit, but always has an abundance of surveys available with many of them up to $5 each.  Check or Paypal cash out options, but with high minimum, it takes a little longer to cash out.  US and Canada.

Valued Opinions -Great site with great-paying surveys.  Most are $2.00, but each survey averages out to be .50 cents per five minutes.  You can cashout at $20 with an Amazon gift card, or $25 with a Visa gift card.  It is very possible to cash out after a week with this site, but sometimes you have to wait a little longer for your reward to actually show up.

With Survey Savvy's low minimum threshold, it is a good site to earn quick easy cash online.SurveySavvy – Rarely offers surveys, but when they do most are top dollar, including $50 and $100 research surveys a few times per month.  $1 cashout minimum, sent immediately by check.  Possible to cash out immediately after first survey.

Make quick, easy cash at OpinionPlus Panel.OpinionPlus -This is a new survey site that pays well!  Generally $2 (or 200 points) each per survey, and quick, easy cashout at 1,000 points ($10).  OpinionPlus is desparate for MALE members, which is great for you guys because you should automatically qualify for most surveys.  Easy to cashout a few times a week with this site.

Reward TV – Redeem points for prizes, including gift cards and gas cards.  Each 20,000 points is worth $1.  This site doesn’t pay out as much as other survey sites, but you’ll have a lot more fun here.

Toluna Surveys –  Lots of surveys usually available, but also offers mini-tasks and other ways to earn, like testing products and writing reviews.  Rewards are based on a points system, whereas 3,000 points is equal to $1. Paypal cashout option as low as $20, but also has lots of other gift cards available as well, like Sears, Amazon, Applebee’s..

SurveyDownline – Good site with lots of surveys available.  Most pay about $1.00-$5.00, with some offering more.  Straight cash system, with Paypal cashout option.

IPsos iSay is a good survey site to earn quick easy cash online.

Ipsos i-Say – Very popular research panel with surveys always available.  Ipsos offers a lot of different ways to earn fun while you’re earning those rewards.  Ipsos offers a point system, where 100 points is equal to $1.00 worth of rewards, including merchandise and gift cards!  There are constant surveys available to keep you busy, and it’s daily random poll prediction questions makes it

Amazon Mechanical Turk Alternatives

MTurk has generally been THE source for crowdsourcing jobs. But check out this list of valuable Amazon Mechanical Turk alternatives.. Looking for good Amazon Mechanical Turk alternatives?  You’re not alone..

There are many reasons for wanting to find options.  Sometimes there just aren’t enough decent HITS on MTurk, or you’re looking for more chances to earn in your spare time, or you just want to find something better than Amazon Mechanical Turk that pays more for tasks.

Maybe you live outside of the US, and are looking for a good equivalent to Amazon Mechanical Turk that can be used in the UK or Canada?

These Amazon Mechanical Turk alternatives should fulfill your needs..

FusionCash is an excellent Amazon Mechanical Turk alternative..

1. CrowdFlowerCrowdflower offers microtasks through many different sites, making this another excellent Amazon Mechanical Turk alternative.

You have probably already completed some Crowdflower tasks, as they spread them around here and there. Crowdflower is a crowdsourcing site, but has only recently begun offering tasks on it’s own platform.  In the past, Crowdflower tasks were spread out through its partner sites only.

What types of jobs will I be doing?

Microtask jobs similar to MTurk, with some writing and editing if you qualify for those tasks.

Do I need to sign up directly with Crowdflower?

Yes, Crowdflower now offers some tasks on its own site, so it is beneficial to sign up directly.

But the majority of the tasks are spread out among various other places–Crowdflower’s partner sites.  But it is easy and certainly worth your while to sign up with a few of those.  Before completing any Crowdflower tasks on one of those sites, you will be prompted to setup or sign into your Crowdflower account.  It is fairly simple though, and you’re never really redirected completely out of the site from which you started.

Where can I find Crowdflower tasks?

At  Otherwise, Crowdflower does not issue a complete list anywhere of all of its partner sites that host these tasks, but here is a short list of great sites to get you started.

Sites with Crowdflower tasks (for U.S.):

There are more, and you are allowed to have up to 25 active Crowdflower accounts spread around their partnering sites. But anymore than that, and they will start cancelling them out for you, or you will not get paid for some of your tasks.

Where can Canadians find Crowdflower tasks?

Where can UK residents can find Crowdflower tasks?

ClixSense pays the most for Crowdflower tasks, making this a great MTurk alternative..

When and how will I get paid?

Tasks completed on the Crowdflower site itself is credited towardyour own Crowdflower Elite account, which is a temporary payment account similar to Amazon Payments.  Anytime you have at least $2 in your Elite account, you can transfer it to Paypal.

When you complete Crowdflower tasks on its partner sites, you’ll get paid by that site.  So while you are doing the actual jobs for Crowdflower, Crowdflower doesn’t pay you directly. They pay the service site when tasks are completed and the service site pays you.  So when and how you get paid is determined by whichever site you’re signed up through.

If you’re a Swagbucks member, and you’re completing Crowdflower tasks while you’re signed in to Swagbucks, then you get credited through Swagbucks, and paid in the same method and timing as you were previously.

This can be a positive thing, because you can pick and choose those sites that have payment methods and terms that fit your needs. For example, if you want quick cash, you might want to work on InboxDollars because they add your hard-earned cash directly to your free InboxDollars debit card. Other sites might pay by Paypal, check, direct deposit, or some other reward system.

Is there plenty of work available?

Just like other crowdsourcing sites, the best jobs go first and go quickly. There is always a chance that whatever is leftover by the time you get there will be the difficult tasks that were given up or returned. Of course, this could vary depending on the site in which you are working.

Crowdflower complaints:

Usually not enough tasks available.  When you find a good lot of tasks that are worth it, and you start to get into a rhythm, they go so quickly.  And whatever is left are too difficult or broken.  So act fast when you find good ones.

Crowdflower’s Better Business Bureau review:

Scored an “A” by the Better Business Bureau.  Only 4 official complaints in the past four years, and each one has been efficiently resolved by the company in a professional and reasonable manner.  Crowdflower is not BBB accredited, however.

Running your own blog could get you a full-time income and get you out of the Turk Grind for good!

2. ClickWorkerClickworker is one of the good Amazon Mechanical Turk alternatives, plus it could be considered an equivalent to MTurk that can be used in the UK and Canada.

ClickWorker is a crowdsourcing site based out of Germany.  It’s likely that you will occasionally get the site in it’s original language.  To get the english version, there is an option in the top right corner to click–EN for english.  After you sign up, you can simply sign in and it will automatically give you the english site, if that is what you chose.

What types of jobs will I be doing?

Offers mini and microjobs, very similar to MTurk, as well as larger writing jobs.

What assessments are required?

This site does require some initial assessments, however they are very reasonably easy and quick to finish. Once you’ve completed an assessment, you’re immediately given your grade, and if passing, you are allowed to begin the tasks for which you have qualified. If you choose, you can take the other assessments for access to the higher-qualified tasks.

When and how will I get paid?

  • Clickworker offers Paypal payments, or direct deposit into SEPA bank accounts only.
  • Paypal payments are transferred every week between Wednesdays-Fridays.
  • Direct bank deposits are transferred once a month between the 7th and the 9th.

What is the minimum payout?

  • Paypal:  $1 (or 1 euro)
  • SEPA bank deposit:  10 euros

Equivalent to Amazon Mechanical Turk that can be used in the UK and Canada?

ClickWorker does hire workers internationally, including from Canada and the UK, as long as you have a Paypal account for accepting payments.

ClickWorker complaints:

A lot more advertisements here. While you will get paid (generally) for the tasks you successfully complete, you want to rethink those tasks that ask you to give your email address. It is very possible you will be bombarded with spam, or worse.

ClickWorker’s Better Business Bureau review:

Even though ClickWorker is based in Germany, they do have a BBB review on file with a New York address listed.  According to the BBB, the reason they were not graded is usually because of “insufficient information about a business or ongoing review/update of the business”.  There were zero complaints filed over the past three years, and the business in not BBB accredited.

Making referrals to a site like Vindale could be a great alternative to MTurk.

3. CrowdSourceCrowdSource is one of the few Amazon Mechanical Turk alternatives that are considered MTurk equivalents for Canadians and UK residents.

The labor side of CrowdSource is known as CloudCrowd.

What types of jobs will I be doing?

CrowdSource offers small microtasks, as well as those higher-paying (and highly sought-after) writing and editing jobs.

CloudCrowd is the name of CrowdSource's labor division, which is a better-paying alternative to Amazon's Mechanical Turk.

Similar to Crowdflower, Crowdsource puts their tasks up on their partner sites—mainly MTurk, but they also work directly with ODesk for larger project tasks. But initially, you must sign up through CrowdSource.

When and how will I get paid?

You are paid through Amazon Payments if you’re working through MTurk.. If you’re working through ODesk, you’ll have many payment options, including a temporary ODesk online bank account, with anytime-transfer to your own personal bank account, or Paypal, or Payoneer.  The timing of payments is reliant on Amazon and ODesk’s payment terms as well.

CrowdSource also offers small bonuses for completing a certain number of tasks per day. It’s not much, but if you’re doing crowdsourcing work, you know better than most people that every little penny adds up.

What assessments are required?

All new workers are required to take three pre-qualification tests before beginning any tasks. Your test results are not shown to you—instead you are promised a 2-4 day wait to find out whether or not you’ve been approved.

If you’re approved, you will then be allowed access to the CrowdSource tasks through MTurk or ODesk. You will be signing into your CrowdSource account with your Amazon MTurk or ODesk username and password.  You’ll be given your own CrowdSource Workstation, which is sort of like a dashboard for keeping track of all your CrowdSource tasks.

Keep in mind before diving head first into CrowdSource, they have very strict rules for their requirement testing, and incredibly high standards for the quality of all submitted writing and editing jobs. If you’re really vying for a spot here, you should definitely bring your A-game.

Equivalent to Amazon Mechanical Turk that can be used by Canadians and UK residents?

Yes, through ODesk.  ODesk happily accepts freelancers from various countries. You can sign up with ODesk, post your free profile on the site, and possibly be hired for other jobs at your hourly rate as well.  Then go and sign up with CrowdSource using your new ODesk username and password.

CrowdSource Better Business Bureau review:

Scored an “A+” by the Better Business Bureau.  The company has had zero complaints filed over the last three years, and is BBB accredited.

4.  ODesk  oDesk and Elance are both excellent Amazon Mechanical Turk alternatives.

5.  Elance

ODesk and Elance are freelance companies that are mixed in with the crowdsourcing industry. The two have always been competitors in the industry but have very recently merged.  As of now, though, they are two separate businesses, meaning that you would still have to sign in separately and have two different accounts and usernames.

While they are technically different from the average crowdsourcing sites, because you are promoting yourself and your talents like an advertisement, there are frequently jobs posted that you can bid on per task.  They usually build their own APIs, or separate website, for allowing groups of people to work on tasks setup specifically for them.

What type of work would I be doing?

If you commit to everything these sites have to offer, then you could be doing whatever you advertise yourself for.

The people or organizations who go to this site to find workers are usually looking for people to complete somewhat larger tasks requiring slightly more time or commitment than the microtasks on MTurk.  Plus, it is always beneficial to have your name and credentials on one of these sites while working on other sites in the meantime.

Are there requirement tests?

There are, but they are not required.  With ODesk and Elance, your qualifications are told through your user-created profile, and your client feedback.  If you want to show off your talents, you can choose to take qualification tests, and if you excel, your results will be shown as badges on your profile as being in the top 10%, or 20%.  The tests themselves really do test your skills (they’re not too easy), and each one is about 40 questions long.  So once you’re a member, just find those assessments and make yourself stand out from the crowd.

Equivalent to Amazon Mechanical Turk used in the UK and Canada?

Yes, as long as you have a SEPA bank account or Paypal account, so you can be paid.

When and how will I get paid?

After you’re paid for a specific job, the payment goes immediately into your ODesk account, or Elance Global account.  These are similar to Amazon Payments, or even Paypal.  Your payments are held here until you’re ready to transfer them to either Paypal, Payoneer, or direct transfer to your bank account.

ODesk and Elance Better Business Bureau reviews:

The Better Business Bureau grouped these two companies together in their review.  They were given a score of “A+”, although there were 98 complaints over the past three years, 44 of them for the past 12 months alone.  Even though they were grouped together, it is clear that most of the complaints were specifically about Elance, regarding various problems, including billing, collection, and some technical issues over profiles.  ODesk and Elance are BBB accredited.

6.  MicroworkersMicroworkers is another good alternative to Amazon's MTurk.

I’ve recently been spending a lot of time and making some good cash with this site, and have decided to add it to the list. Microworkers is somewhat different than the rest, with different types of tasks and slightly higher pay.  Check out this in-depth Microworkers review here for a better view.

Is Amazon Mechanical Turk Worth It?

Time consuming tasks for low pay, is Amazon Mechanical Turk worth it?

There are 500,000 MTurk workers around the U.S. seem that seem to think MTurk is worth it (figure according to Forbes).  It is a great site for little bits of productivity during breaks and downtime, but steady work can also add up to a $10 an hour job if you know your way around the site.

MTurk can be daunting at first, though.  It is a little intimidating to see so many task options at start up, you’re unsure about which of them will be a huge waste of your time.

And I’m sure that most of you were just as surprised as I was to log onto the site for the first time and see .01 and .03 cent tasks.  I didn’t stay long for that visit, that’s for sure.

But there are many different reasons why a person would purposely choose to work for such low, unappealing rates.  The experienced MTurk worker knows that those low rates can add up fast.  It’s all about learning from your mistakes and figuring out which tasks will bring in the most money.

Swagbucks is definitely worth your time. Make money from searching and shopping too!

How does Amazon Mechanical Turk work?

Is MTurk worth the pennies it pays out?

MTurk is a crowdsourcing site.  Crowdsourcing is a way for an employer to get help from the masses of willing people to do his work or complete tasks for a per-task payment.  A few examples of these task would be:

  • Select the correct spelling for these search terms
  • Is this website suitable for a general audience?
  • Find the item number for the product in this image
  • Rate the search results for these keywords
  • Are these two products the same?
  • Choose the appropriate category for products
  • Categorize the tone of this article
  • Translate a paragraph from English to French
The majority of the tasks, or HITS, available on MTurk are incredibly simple and can be done very quickly.  Others are harder and not worth the small payment offered.
You, as a worker, are offered small tasks to do, and shown the exact payment you will receive after you’ve successfully completed it.
See the Slideshow presentation at the bottom of the page for step-by-step instructions on how to get started with making money on Amazon Mechanical Turk.

When/How do you get your Amazon MTurk payments?

Within 48 hours, you’re credited in your Amazon Payments account that you’ve set up for free.  If you choose to link your bank account to your Amazon Payments account, you can transfer that cash directly to your bank.  The transfer is simple, and only takes a few days to arrive after you’ve initiated the transfer.  Otherwise, you can still spend your hard-earned cash freely on Amazon anytime you want.

So, is Amazon Mechanical Turk worth it?

After you get through the newbie stage, yes, absolutely.  It takes a little bit of time in the beginning to become qualified for some of the better HITS.  In a sense, you have to prove yourself as a serious worker who is actually trying to do a good job.  After a short time, you’ll be given better-paying opportunities.

After a while, everyone gets the hang of it.  You’ll quickly learn which HITS will be easy and worth your time.

You will start to learn how long certain hits will take you, and automatically start each HIT by calculating its worth by hourly wage.

How to Make the Most on Amazon Mechanical Turk..

  • Take your qualification tests.

If you’re offered a qualification test, take it.  Certain individual requesters have more strict requirements.  This usually means that it’s a better paying job, and qualifying for it will open up more opportunities for you to make better money now and down the line.  So even though it might take a little more time, you should always try to qualify for the good HITS.

  • Start out doing as many quick, low-paying hits as you can.

A lot of people quit MTurk because they’re not being offered any good HITS that are worth the payment being offered.  But the opportunities get much better the more successful completions you get under your belt.  The point is to just get your number of (successful) completed tasks up above 100, and this can be done in only a few days.  You’ll be qualified for more jobs, the more money you can make, and you’ll have fewer competitors for qualified HITS.  So, stick it out.

  • Keep track ofthe time it takes you to perform different types of tasks, so you can calculate hourly wage for future similar HITS.

If the hit’s pay divided by the actual time it takes you to do the job, gets you about 10 cents, then you’ll be making a little less than minimum wage.  If you aim for 15 to 20 cents per minute, you’ll average closer to $9 and $12 an hour.  Of course, at first this is a little harder to calculate because you don’t really know how long each task might take you.  But after a few hundred completed hits, you’ll know which types of HITS take too long and just aren’t worth your valuable time.

If you think MTurk is worth it, give FusionCash a try. It's worth your valuable time.

Does MTurk always pay?

Amazon pays, so you shouldn’t have to worry about that.
However, what you should keep in mind is that Amazon is only transferring those payments from the requester’s account to you–it is not Amazon paying you for completing these tasks.  You’re working for actual people out in the world.
After you complete a task, it is up to the requester of that HIT to approve or reject your work.  If you’re rejected, then you will not get paid, and your approval rate takes a hit.
Most requesters are good, meaning they will do right by you as long as you correctly complete the tasks to the best of your ability.  But, just like in the real world, people want to get everything for nothing.  These are the requesters you need to learn to avoid.  It’ll be up to you to figure out which requesters aren’t paying fair value of the work they’re asking you to do.  I will tell you about a good fix for this problem in the next section.

To filter through the HITS, MTurk scripts are essential.

MTurk scripts are sort of like plugins for your browser.  Some of them are extremely useful for saving valuable time when working on HITS.

In order to be able to install scripts, you must first download the plugin.

GreaseMonkey Extension for Firefox users

TamperMonkey Extension for Chrome users

After you’ve installed one of these addons, you can install your scripts.  Here are a few must-haves:

  • TurkOpticon gives you reviews on each requester.  There are some requesters who refuse payments too often, which can in turn hurt your qualification rate.  Turker reviews will tell you if you should avoid working for any requesters in particular.  This is an absolute must-have for any MTurk worker.
  • Discover Fake Availabilities categorizes the hits for you in a productive way.  Too often, after clicking on a hit that sounds good, you’ll get a message saying “There are no more hits available in this group”.  Discover Fake Availabilities script highlights all your hit choices in different colors, including highlighting those empty groups purple.  This will save you from wasting time clicking on dead HITS.
  • Context Menu Search allows you to highlight text.  Some HITS will require you to do a Google search for certain terms, but the MTurk pages do not let you copy and paste any text.  You have to actually open a new browser and type out your text into the search engine.  This may not sound like much now, but after a few of these, I actually paused my work to go and search for a script like this.

Check out more valuable MTurk scripts here, including instructions for installing.  They’re all absolutely free!

Another excellent MTurk Resource:

MTurkList is a great site that shows you recommended hits.  They also calculate how long it will actually take you to complete each one, and the hourly-wage figure.  You will always find good hits in here, but they go quick.  So you’ll need to refresh every few times you go back to the page, or you might end going to a bunch of dead hits.

The only downside to this site is that you’re forced to see a five second ad each time you click through to a hit.  But for new workers who don’t yet know the good from the bad, this is incredibly helpful.

Some things you should know..

If you haven’t signed up yet, they have a two day “waiting for approval” period, and in my case, they took the full two days before they let me in.

Is Amazon Mechanical Turk worth it.. don't forget to click the HIT button or you'll lose all your work.

  • Don’t forget to ACCEPT THE HIT first!  I cannot stress this enough.  More than a few times I have forgotten to click that “accept” button at the top.  When you realize it, all the work you’ve done is deleted and you’ve wasted that time.

Click through these slides for guided instructions on getting started and completing your first HITs on MTurk.

Is there a Canadian’s Amazon Mechanical Turk?  Or an MTurk UK?

Unfortunately, no. Amazon stopped accepting workers outside of the U.S.  Apparently there was a lot of scamming going on from outside of the country, and Amazon couldn’t verify the identity of overseas account holders. Amazon would close an account for abuse or fraud, and that person would just open another account in another name.  So, because Amazon can easily verify the identity of US residents, and ban them from the site if necessary, they only allow U.S. residents as workers.  They do, however, accept MTurk Requesters from multiple countries.  You can find an extensive list of MTurk alternatives for non-US residents here.

MTurk is not the only site online for making extra cash online. Check out this list of great online jobs and alternative crowdsourcing sites.

You can also earn a good part-time income taking surveys in your spare time.  Here’s my list of top-paying survey sites that pay cash.
