Is wealthy affiliate scam? Or a successful new business.

Wealthy Affiliate University – Scam? or Successful New Business..

Wealthy Affiliate University – SCAM? or SUCCESSFUL NEW BUSINESS?

So, I’ve talked a lot about Wealthy Affiliate here, because it is a major part of my life and my income.

So here is my official review.

While my opinion as a member may be a bit biased, I promise to be completely objective here, detailing the GOOD and the BAD..

My personal experience of Wealthy Affiliate University…

 The Free Trial Offer

The free-trial deal was supposed to include most of “bells & whistles” of Wealthy Affiliate University.  Enough to try it out and make sure I liked the job before I committed to it full-time.

I initially joined for free, as promised.  Registration consisted of name and email, no question of a credit card whatsoever!  To prove I was a real person I had to confirm my email address.  That was that.

Once I was in, I’m told to setup a username, fill out my profile to introduce myself to the community. I was immediately given access to the lessons—10 lessons for a 10-day trial period.

I jumped right in and found the lessons to be incredibly fascinating!  Maybe most of you knew a little about affiliate marketing already, but it was mostly new information to me. I had no idea how so many people were making all this money online and how easy it could be for me to get in on it too.

My ten days worth of lessons were finished in two days!  I was overly eager, I zoomed through the lessons without waiting.

Here’s the gist of the lessons and what I learned..

Online Entrepreneurship Certifications:  10 Lessons

During the first course, they roll out the Welcome Mat..

“We’re so happy to have you here..  Here’s how to complete your profile, add your picture.. Here’s how to ask for help, and here’s a quick tour of Wealthy Affiliate”, blah, blah, blah…

Now while this IS very interesting, you can skip it, or skim through it and move on to the good stuff.

Here’s all the SECRETS I never knew—how to actually make money online.  How it’s all possible, how others are doing it.  CREATE CONTENT on a website, use KEYWORDS and SEO to get visitors, and GET COMMISSIONS from other businesses when those visitors click  on your links.

You pick a topic that interests you, and you start your website.  Your “content” that is necessary for the entire process to work, can be writing on your blog or website.  You can use your site to make an online store.  You can create videos and learn how to make money with those.. Whichever way you go, you’ll be learning how to GENERATE your own INCOME with your content.

Here’s your two free websites.  You get to design them, color, theme, etc..  You get to choose the names of both, and they’re widely available. You can add whatever you want to these sites, there are zero limits.

But, these are not custom domains—they are sites (example: yoursite@siterubix .com).  You can do whatever you want with these two, and they’re yours as long as you’re a member—for free or paid.

Your SiteRubix websites are LIVE, and reachable by the public.  So, as soon as you publish your site, you are officially a webmaster with your own website online.

If you follow the lessons, you can make these sites successful.  However, most people decide to choose a custom domain after they design their ideal website.  This will be on your tab, as most domains cost about $10 to purchase, and as an annual recurring cost to keep it..

I was surprised by this, as it is not mentioned anywhere in the WA starter lessons.  But it’s a small price to pay for your very own personalized dot com website.

I used to think that you’d have to be a programmer, or be prepared to dish out hundreds of bucks a month to have your own website.  I was so surprised to find out how easy and inexpensive it is!

The next few lessons show you in detail how to setup your website.  You can choose from thousands of different themes, and design it to give it the specific look you want.  You’re -shown step-by-step lessons of how to add categories, posts and pages, images..  It is all spelled out for you in text, and video walkthrough.  It’s so simple, and a lot of fun!

And keep in mind, it is all still FREE at this point!

I was already shown how to make money with my website, but these final lessons focus on the different types of content (articles, posts, videos, social media, etc) you can add, and how to attract visitors and ultimately profit from your content.

This is where you learn about SEO and how to use it.  SEO is “search engine optimization”, and it’s basically how to setup your website so that Google notices it..

Since it’s the search engines that will bring you the majority of your visitors (at least at first), you need to know what they people are looking for and what they like to see in a published website.  It’s really just a few simple steps that will quickly become second-nature to any website owner.

In two days (by Lesson 10), I had TWO published websites, live for the world to see.  Please keep in mind that both of these have changed in content and design many times over the years, as I continue to learn new things at WA on a daily basis.

Affiliate earnings and how much you can make.

Starting at Wealthy Affiliate, you’re given two sets of lessons.  You can start with either one, but most WA members eventually study and actively practice both earning methods.

Affiliate Certification Training

—  Certification Training teaches you how to make money from any niche, or topic of interest you choose.

Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp Training

—  Bootcamp teaches you how to promote Wealthy Affiliate (if you choose).

No matter which training you start with, you are carefully walked through the entire process.  The Bootcamp training is a fantastic advantage to the already beneficial membership.  Wealthy Affiliate is it’s own affiliate program that pays its members very generous commissions for referrals.

As a Premium WA member, you get $22.50 commission payment for anyone who signs up under your link.  And this is a recurring commission—meaning you get it each and every month as long as that person stays a member.

So even if you only get as few as three new members per week, that’s about $250 per month, every month.

And this is only through Wealthy Affiliate.  You will be promoting many different products or services in addition to WA, which has the potential to bring in a lot of extra money.

For example, I promote an awesome survey site called FusionCash, because it was where I started with online earning and where I made the most money.  Now, in promoting it, I make ten times more than I did without a website. It is one of my more profitable affiliate programs.

And all I did was mention FusionCash and post a link.  Simply talking about my success at FusionCash gets people interested and they click on the link, which almost always brings me a commission.

With each FusionCash click, I earn $1 – $2, which is a tiny amount compared to many other affiliate commision programs.  But this one little link brings in about $300-$400 per month all by itself.

And from my three websites, I promote about 200 different programs. It’s that easy.

Wealthy Affiliate brings in the majority of my income, but many, many other “free” programs add up to a lot of cash!

Now this may take a while of devoted blogging on your site to get to this point.  It took me about 6-8 months to see a steady stream of visitors, clicks and signups.

But the niches I chose off the bat were highly competitive.  Wealthy Affiliate gives you suggestions of very narrow fields which will bring in immediate traffic simply because of a lack of options.  You just answer the people’s questions.

As long as my websites are active and I’m continually doing what WA taught me, Google automatically continues to reward me with more visitors.

WA taught me how to it all, and I’m still learning new stuff every day.

Keeping that big money in mind, let me tell you my Wealthy Affiliate complaint.

The cost.

Wealthy Affiliate is not a free service.  It comes with a hefty monthly fee.

But let me clarify–the free trial was actually free as promised..  The two websites also promised, including designing and publishing, really was free as well..

However, after the 10-day free Starter trial period is over, you’re required to pay the first monthly fee if you want to continue on with the lessons and keep building up your website and your content, and most likely you will.

I promise, it’s unexpectedly very addictive!

Okay, so the good news is that you’re offered a discounted rate for the first month of $19.

If you’re still there 30 days later, you’re billed $47 for your next month and each following month that you remain a member.

Okay so I know exactly what you’re thinking because I thought it too. If you could see profitable results immediately, then it would be a piece of cake paying a monthly fee out.  But no, they tell you straight up that it will likely take a while before you see traffic and earnings coming in.  It is very likely that you’ll get a few commission payments straggle through during your first month and your second month..  By the third month, again this depends on which niche you’ve chosen, you will likely get your first steady stream of income.  Not enough to live on, and very likely it won’t be enough to cover your monthly payments yet either.  But if you continue to follow the lessons, and adding content to your website or blog on a regular basis, the people (and the big money) will come!

Kyle, the WA owner hosts all the video lessons himself. As skeptical as I usually am, I believed him when he kept saying, “just keep working, it’ll happen”.  He gives a time-frame for success somewhere around 3-8 months.  And by the 12 month mark, you’ve got cash payments coming in from all over the place on a daily basis.

But still, just starting out with something so new, you really don’t want to pay a bunch of money on a promise that things will come back to you eventually.  But that’s what I did.  I believed in it, and honestly, I was having fun and I didn’t want to quit!

At about the six month mark at Wealthy Affiliate, I started getting regular traffic, and clicks, and the payments slowly started coming in.  And mind you, I chose the hard “make money online” niche that everybody seems to be doing!  Another niche probably would have made it happen in half the time..

But the point is that now my monthly payments going into WA are a tiny portion of what WA is giving me each month.  I would be paying $47 on the 13th (or whatever day of the month that I happen to start my membership on), and I would get a $64 payment from Wealthy Affiliate send directly into my Paypal account on the first of the month.  The next month it would be higher, and the next month even higher, and on and on…  I quickly learned what a terrific value that service actually is.  I could have easily taken my website over to a different hosting company for a little bit cheaper, and left WA for good, saving myself that outgoing payment each month.  But not being a member, I lose my biggest monthly commission payment each month.

After a year, I had good money!  I went ahead and paid the yearly subscription fee of $375, which cut my monthly payments down to $29 per month.  And out of that $29 per month, I am getting $22.5 handed right back to me, per referral, for each and every month.  Wealthy Affiliate is easy to sell–it’s worth it and people can see that for themselves for free.

Worst case scenario–quit when your trial period’s up.  Nothing lost on your end, and a lot of new knowledge gained.

My favorite part about my new Internet business…

I recently had a family crisis which took all of my time and left all three of my sites completely neglected for about two months.  I was worried about losing the income after being away for so long.  But the flow of visitors, clicks, and commissions coming in never even slowed down!  My business was running, and thriving without me.

Set it and forget it..

Affiliate marketing is not exactly what you’d call a ‘passive income’, because you have to put in the work.  But once your content is published and your affiliate links are placed, it’s there forever.  Set it and forget it!  If I completely walked away from my websites today, the money would probably still be flowing in for about a year or two.

Is wealthy affiliate scam? Or a successful new business.

THE KEY TO SUCCESS at Wealthy Affiliate

Take advantage of the Wealthy Affiliate Community to learn tricks and tips.

When I joined, I automatically assumed that these people are my competition.  Why should I

turn to them with any questions or comments?  I’m not a social person, personally.  But there are no competitors there.  They’re all friendly and helpful.  It’s the strangest lifestyle.  Everyone has one common goal, but very different methods of getting there.  There are many successful people at WA, many of whom are owners of popular sites that you probably visit on a daily basis.  Ask any question, anytime, and you’ll get professional answers or suggestions, usually within minutes.

Only promote products and services that you believe in!

You will come across plenty of affiliate programs offering you outrageous, hard-to-pass-up commissions just for mentioning them or linking to them.  It is just bad business to promoting products or services or websites that you are unfamiliar with, or that you know your readers will not be happy with.  It may earn you a commission, but it will probably lose you respect and credibility with that reader who trusted you.

Follow the instructions step-by-step and it WORKS!

If you complete each step of each lesson, you will earn money from your website. No limits.

And each step of the process was fun.  Every little step or accomplishment gets you excited and you’re ready to do more and more!

You can actually see how Google notices your hard work and rewards you with better rankings, more visitors to your site, and ultimately, more earnings.

Depending on your devotion, the sky is the limit from there.

After a year of blogging, I quit my full-time job and worked solely from home, earning more than I was before.

I am now up to three websites total, which bring in three incomes.

I am my own boss..  I work my own hours. It’s a completely new lifestyle.

Make Money Online - Affiliate Program 101.. Everything you need to get started with an affiliate marketing business.

Make Money Online Affiliate Program 101

Online affiliate programs make it incredibly easy for the average person to make some extra money online.  And with all the resources available out there, you can easily turn a few affiliate programs into a thriving affiliate marketing business.

From the basics to getting started, we’re going to cover it all..

How to Make Money Online – Affiliate Program 101

 Here’s what’s included:

  • What is an affiliate program..
  • Different types of affiliate programs (and how you’re paid)..
  • Where to find affiliate programs..
  • How to make money online with an affiliate program..
  • Popular affiliate program lists..
  • How to get started..
  • How to get your own website FREE..

What is an affiliate program?

Affiliate marketing is a serious new contender in the online advertising world.  Companies online, big and small, pay average people like me and you to talk about their product, service, or website.

In joining an affiliate program, you are an affiliate for that company.  As an affiliate, you’re paid an incentive for talking about that business, and getting people to click on your link to go to that that website .  You can advertise your links by writing reviews on your own blog or website.  You can also post links on other sites like forums, or launch pay per click ads to get people to your affiliate site.

Just like a realtor gets paid a commission for selling someone else’s home, these companies pay you a commission for simply referring people to them.  In some cases, the commission only comes after the customer makes a purchase, but you’re always told up front what is required of your referrals before you sign up.

Different types of affiliate programs..

There are many different types of affiliate programs you can join.  Each one falls into one of the following three categories: pay-per-sale, pay-per-click, and pay-per-lead.  The category of the affiliate program determines what is required of your referrals after they click on your link.

Pay-per-sale affiliate programs-

-The customer clicks on your link heading to your promoted affiliate program, and actually makes a purchase from that other site.  And there are two types of pay-per-sale payments types:

  • Flat-rate commission-

This is a fixed commission amount paid to you for a customer sale.

Examples of flat-rate programs are MLM or Co-op programs, like Wealthy Affiliate or Affilorama or ZipNadaZilch.  Because the rate plans are fixed, you get a fixed amount for each sale you refer.   Most of these you have to pay to join yourself, but this is usually worth it because of the high-earning potential in this category.  More about these below.

  • Percentage-based commission-

They pay you a percentage of the total purchase price the customer spent with the advertiser.

An Example of a percentage commission pay-per-click affiliate program is Amazon.  You talk about an item they have for sale, your reader clicks on your link, and makes a purchase (any item), you get a 4-10% commission.

Pay-per-click affiliate programs-

This is where you designate a spot on your site for a bulk advertiser to automatically place ads that are relevant to your niche, or the general topic of your web pages.  You must have your own blog or website  for pay-per-click affiliate advertising.  This type of program pays tiny payments per click (1-20 cent average), and is really only worth it if you already have a large number of daily visitors to your site.

Some examples of pay-per-click affiliate programs are Google AdSense, and Adversal.

Pay-per-lead affiliate programs

This is the easiest type of affiliate program out there, because nothing is actually required of your referral other than signing up and confirming their email address.  Someone visits the site, joins for free and confirms their email address by clicking a link.  Simple.

One example of a pay-per-lead affiliate program is a site called Vindale Research.  This is a survey company that is completely free for you and your referrals to join, and they pay you a flat $5 for each person who signs up under your link.  It’s easy money!

Where to find affiliate programs.

Affiliate programs are everywhere!

Websites, old and new, are competing for visitors on the web.  So when one site offers a competitive affiliate program, people are enticed to promote it, leading more traffic and business to that website.  In order to keep up, that site’s competitors must offer an affiliate program of their own.  And because of this, affiliate programs are spreading like wildfire.  Search for any topic you can imagine, and there are likely many matching affiliate programs for you to choose from.

There are also free directories, or networks of affiliate programs.  These are companies who take care of individual affiliate programs all in one network.  You join the network site, search their supply or simply go down the list and sign up with different programs right from one site.  And you’re paid all of your affiliate commissions directly through the directory site.  Some of these include PantheraLinkShare, Commission Junction, and ShareaSale.

The affiliate programs on these directories have a huge range of companies, products and services you can choose to promote.  Any possible niche you choose for your website can be complimented with relevant affiliate programs from these sites.

How can I make money online with an affiliate program?

Okay, so let’s assume you’ve gotten your website all set up and active, and the niche you’ve chosen is:  Baby products.

There are so many different avenues you could venture down with this niche.  Affiliate marketing is mostly based on content–which means lots of words (articles, posts) that are valuable to your reader.  So you will be writing about products for babies.  You can do your keyword research to find out what your readers want to know, and write it for them.

Write your first article on any related product of your choice.  Reviews of products are the perfect opportunity to reach people who want to know more about a product or service, and gives you the opportunity to tell them what they need to know, or give them options of other comparable products.

After you have your chosen product, do a search for the best, matching affiliate program.  Say you found this great toddler booster seat.  You do a search for it on various sites and find the best deal, and sign up with that site’s affiliate program.  It is likely that you will find similar baby-related products on Amazon,, and  They give you an affiliate link, and you base your written content on that product, focusing on getting your reader to make the click.

You can also reverse that order–choose the affiliate program and browse their products for something in particular to promote.  Many people do this with product sites like Amazon–they find those top-selling items and become experts.  The best part about using Amazon is that if your referral clicks on your link, and chooses to buy a $1500 laptop instead, you still get credit for that.

And still another way to go about this is to find which baby products actual consumers search the most, then find the product and the affiliate program.  A simple Jaaxy keyword search for toddlers brings up a lot of questions about the “Teach my Toddler Learning Kit”.  I would know, if this was my niche, that I should learn as much as I can about that product and promote it.  I’d likely get a lot of visitors clicking on my site if I could show them more about what the product is and where to buy it for the best price.

You can also promote products or services from different affiliate programs on the same article.  You can promote a toddler training potty from Amazon.. an e-book on the best method to train your toddler on Clickbank..  and a potty training rewards kit from ToysRUs all in the same post.  The possibilities are endless..

  •  $300 one-time fee (blog/marketing training)
  • $100 per month (motivation audios)

THE BEST Money Making Sites (How I earn an easy $50/day)

While learning how to earn an income online, I spent a long time learning the hard way.  I worked too hard and was ultimately undervalued, and worse, under-paid.  I feel like I’ve finally gotten into a rhythm with a great set of profitable websites and a steady in flow of earnings. Here I’d like to share with you my daily rounds through the internet’s best money making sites as well as other tips that can help you maximize your earnings potential.

How I earn $50 per day with this list of the best money making sites

If you’ve looked around this site at all, it should be clear that I am an avid Wealthy Affiliate advocate. WA is where I devote most of my time, and where I get most of my earnings.

But there is plenty of fast, easy cash to be earned online and I refuse to let it slip away when it is basically handed to me on a silver platter.

I have a longstanding goal to make $50 every day, which I think is very reasonable for just surveys, offers and microtasks.  I do not include any Wealthy Affiliate earnings in this $50 limit. In spending a few hours each day to achieve this goal, some days I go over, and some days I don’t quite make it to $50.  But it all equals out at the end of the week.

Here is my usual, daily routine, including all the best money-making sites I visit regularly for maximum earnings..

Top-dollar Surveys..

After checking in with Wealthy Affiliate (as this is usually the start to my day), I go straight to my email to see which opportunities have come to me.  I get a lot of invitations straight to my inbox, and you will too just by being signed up.  It’s usually very difficult to even try to qualify for it all, so you’ve got to be picky and make a beeline for those highest-paying offers first..

Earn 50 dollars per day with Global Test Market on your list of the best money making sites to visit.

Global Test Market

I specifically look out for survey invitations from Global Test Market. There are always a lot of these that flood my inbox.  Most are average $1.50 to $2.00 each, but there’s often some $4 to $6 surveys that I jump on immediately. Depending on my free time ahead of me, I will often spend an hour or two just going from survey to survey at Global Test Market. It’s so easy to stack up the cash there, it’s addictive.  My qualification rate with this site is always surprisingly great, and when I get on a roll, I don’t want to stop. Most of my survey earnings come from this site.

  • Earning potential: $50 per week
  • 1000 point cashout minimum ($40)
  • Quick Paypal payments (within 7 days)

Pinecone Research is one of the best money making sites on my list that I use to earn my $50 per day

Pinecone Research

I also keep an eye out for surveys from Pinecone Research, as their email invitation is the only notice you’ll ever receive from them for new surveys offered. I don’t make much here–maybe about $12-$15 each week (about 4-5 surveys/week). But Pinecone is such an easy site.. You are automatically qualified for each invitation they send you. They pay a flat $3 for every survey offered (about 15 minutes each), and they pay cash directly into my Paypal account only a few days after I ask for it. I never leave Pinecone waiting after I’m invited!

  • Earning potential: about $12 per week
  • $3 cashout limit
  • Quick paypal payments (3 days)

FusionCash is one of the best money making sites online, helping me to earn $50 per day online

After I’ve answered to all of my emails, I go down my list of favorites. I start with FusionCash. FusionCash only holds about 20-30 surveys at any time, and most are low-to-average. BUT they do pay top dollar for those higher paying surveys. I look out for the $4 and $5 surveys, and there are usually about 3-5 each day. I try out for each of these and complete them if possible. FusionCash surveys are the reason I like this site so much. They’re very generous.  If I have loads of time on my hands, I will go back to FusionCash throughout the day and work on their microtasks. FusionCash pays very well for Crowdflower tasks.

  • Earning potential: $10-30 earning potential per day with surveys, offers and microtasks.
  • $25 cash out limit
  • Paypal, direct deposit, or check payments on 20th of each month.

Free sign-up with FusionCash for:

Earn $50 per day with the best money making sites on this list.

Vindale Research

Vindale Research is another stop on my list. This site offers a lot of low paying surveys, but always have some great ones mixed in there each day. I pop in here multiple times a day and check for those $3-$5 ones, and complete them whenever possible. This site has a huge $50 minimum before you can cash out which makes it kind of a slow process.  But you can earn extra by referring a lot of friends, which Vindale is EXCELLENT for. They pay a whopping $5 for each and every person who signs up under your name! So if you’ve got a lot of Facebook friends and Twitter followers, sign up with Vindale, and send out a link. You could make a lot of easy cash this way.

  • Earning potential: $5-$20 per day just taking surveys
  • $50 cashout limit
  • Paypal payments issued on 15th of each month

Vindale Research (US and Canada)

Work towards earning 50 dollars per day with Clixsense, one of the internet's best money making sites online.

ClixSense is a pretty awesome site. I usually pop in a few times throughout the day, and end up spending about an hour playing around, taking surveys, clicking on the grid for bonuses. These little things aren’t much, but they’re fun and very addictive. ClixSense offers the highest rewards for Crowdflower microtasks, and they pay top dollar for surveys. Qualifying for those $4 and $5 surveys seems to be harder at ClixSense than anywhere else, though.

You’ll notice a lot that you’re being offered the same survey through different sites. Sometimes after ClixSense disqualifies me for a survey, FusionCash qualifies me and lets me complete the same exact survey, even though I just gave the same answers as before. It’s weird. But ClixSense makes up for it with all the rest of the ways to earn here. Cashout minimum is only $8, and it is very possible to get paid two or three times a week here, straight to your Paypal account.

  • Earning potential:  $5-$20 per day just on surveys
  • $8 cash out limit
  • Quick Paypal payments every Wednesday

Go to ClixSense (most countries accepted!)

If you have even more time on your hands and want more earning potential, sign up with all the great sites on this list.  They’re all legit, good-paying money-making sites, and the opportunities and invitations will be endless.

TIPS for earning more with surveys…
  • Keep in mind that some survey sites might not start offering you their highest paying surveys until you’ve put some time in with them first. But signing up and completing as much as you can with them—as much that is worth your valuable time—will only help you in the long run.
  • If possible, try not to worry about working harder on some sites just to reach your cash out limit. As long as you keep up this routine, the money will always be flowing in soon enough.
  • You’ll notice that certain surveys (the top-dollar surveys) will be offered to you multiple times through multiple sites. Sometimes you’ll be allowed the opportunity to complete the same survey a second time, depending on who’s hosting it. Otherwise, if you notice this, you should check to see which site is offering the most for the same survey. I find that, while the same $5 survey will be offered to me through FusionCash, Vindale, and ClixSense, it is FusionCash that almost always offers me that extra quarter or .50 for it. That’s not much, I know, but it all adds up!
  • Check out these secrets that the market researchers behind the surveys don’t want you to know.  Understanding why they ask the questions they ask will help you to qualify for more surveys more often, which will equal to higher earnings.

Crowdsourcing & Microtasks

MTurk is one of the best money making sites online. With time leftover, I complete as many microtasks as possible to round out my desired earnings for the day.  I’ve pent a lot of time with AmazonMechanical Turk and have finally gotten down a strategy of choosing only the valuable microjobs–those where the task is actually worth the reward in respect to the time it takes to complete.  This seems hard to do at first, because it is hard to imagine that the measly pennies you’re offered for each task could add up to anything.  But they really do.  And the more tasks you work on, the better the tasks are that are offered to you.

Clickworker is one of the best money making sites online for earning quick, fast cash.ClickWorker and Microworkers

Clickworker and Microworkers are both great sites that pay more for most microtasks, but they’re very different than the HITs on MTurk.  Because the tasks are hosted mostly by website owners and new business startups, thereare a lot of “check out my stuff and like it on Facebook” types of tasks.. They’re simple, though, and usually offer a much better incentive.

Money-making Apps and Membership Websites

One of my favorite membership “Get-Paid-To” site is Cashcrate.  These people offer so many different ways for you to earn while on their site! Taking surveys, completing offers, watching videos, completing microtasks, shopping rewards, downloading new apps, etc.  You won’t get bored, I promise!

Download and install research apps on your mobile or desktop computers to earn rewards and cash payments for keeping it installed!

  • SavvyConnect – Sign up with SurveySavvy and get paid $5 per month for each device you’re connected with.  Plus, if you have the app installed on three devices at once (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.), you will start to get random invitations for seriously high-paying studies! Read some of mine here.

So.. that’s my average day in trying to reach my goal.  I spend a maximum of about 3 hours online with my focus on earning that $50 for the day.  It’s really easy.. really.  Once you’re signed up with them, most will reach out to you with offers and invitations.  You’ve just got to show up.  So sign up with these sites and make your $50 today.

With an extra hour or so a day, you can be working on your long-term success with your very own website.  Check out this post about how to generate an income with a blog, and find out how you can test out your very own website, for free!

Are there any other sites that you know of that I should add to my list?  Please let me know with a comment..

Wealthy Affiliate vs Affilorama

Wealthy Affiliate or Affilorama? Which is the easier way to online success? It should be clear by now that I am an avid Wealthy Affiliate advocate.  But I think I finally found something that might stack up to what WA offers.

After spending a lot of time digging into the Affilorama products, I’m quite impressed. If I had started with Affilorama when I was just learning, I would have been very satisfied with the system and the step-by-step “for-beginners” way in which Mark Ling personally delivers it.

Wealthy Affiliate vs Affilorama Products, including AffiloBluePrint, AffiloTheme, Affilorama Premium, and AffiloJetPack.. See which stacks up and who stands out.

I have personally tried and tested three out of the four Affilorama products: AffiloBlueprint, AffiloTheme, and Affilorama’s Premium.

The fourth product, the AffilioJetPack is still quite a bit out of my budget, but I’ve done my research, and I have to admit, it sounds very appealing.  We’ll go over these together here, and compare each product to what Wealthy Affiliate offers to see if they stack up or stand out.

Side-by-Side Reviews:  Wealthy Affiliate vs Affilorama..

Wealthy Affiliate vs Affilorama AffiloBluePrint system.. With a one-time fee, the AffiloBluePrint might actually come out on top.

Wealthy Affiliate vs AffiloBluePrint

Affilorama’s AffiloBlueprint is a one-time purchase that contains all the initial training you will need to start up and run an affiliate marketing business.  This is very beginner-oriented, as it gives you bitesize, easy to process steps to follow.  Here’s what you get with AffiloBlueprint:

Wealthy Affiliate vs Affilorama AffiloBluePrint system comes with bonus theme builder and essential marketing tools.

  • 90+ Step by step, in depth, for-beginners video lessons, teaching you everything you need to know about affiliate marketing.
  • Active private members’ forum is helpful for advice and extra tips from other users.
  • AffiloTheme website builder included as a bonus.. walks you through setting up your website with easy customization.
  •  Only covers one hosted site but lasts for an entire year (after your one-time purchase)
  • Includes one free month of Affilorama Premium membership (discussed below)
  • $197 One-time fee..  You pay the cost and it’s yours-you own it.  Lifetime access.
Compared to Wealthy Affiliate
  • Wealthy Affiliate University.. 120+ step-by-step video, text and live webinar training sessions, for starting your business and growing it over time.
  • Step-by-step guidance for creating and starting your websites with the Website Builder
  • Includes hosting for unlimited number of websites (as long as you’re a paying member)
  • Keyword and market research tool
  • Unlimited technical support for all your sites
  • Link tracking and campaign management
  • $47 monthly fee for month-to-month access (or $359 for a year’s access)

Cost Breakdown..

AffiloBluePrint Cost:

$197 one-time fee

$16.42 per month

.55 cents per day

Wealthy Affiliate Cost:

$359 one-year membership

$29.92 per month

.98 cents per day

Affilorama’s AffiloBluePrint might only offer half of what Wealthy Affiliate offers, but you get what you need for half the cost to you.  So I would say that AffiloBluePrint is probably the better choice for someone new and not quite ready to commit to a hefty monthly fee.

For the necessary knowledge and kick in the butt needed to get started, go for the AffiloBluePrint.  You are paying this one-time fee for a ton of guidance, and believe me, it is simple to follow.  You’re also given all the necessary resources you’ll need to get started as soon as you’re ready.  After you make this initial purchase, you will have absolutely no reason to not follow through and actually start your own website.

Even if you stopped here with AffiloBluePrint, you’re good to go for an entire year with one website, which to be honest, one site for a beginner is a full-time job as it is. Basically, AffiloBluePrint gives you everything you need to learn what to do and how to do it, start your website, have immediate hosting, and start making some money with it.  That’s really all you need right now.

Wealthy Affiliate vs Affilorama’s Premium

For those who are ready to go all-in, ready to commit, and just want to find the best, permanent  place for your business and your hosting..

Let’s compare Affilorama’s Premium membership to Wealthy Affiliate membership.

Out of all the Affilorama products, Affilorama Premium is the most comparable to Wealthy Affiliate.  They are both, all-inclusive, hands-on memberships guiding you through the entire process with knowledge and resources you’ll need along the way..

Affilorama Premium Membership

  • Continued lessons at your own pace
  • Free hosting for up to 15 sites  (much better deal!)
  • Niche content and keywords provided to you, they give you the keywords that will sell, you just construct the articles
  • Free customer support
Compared to the Wealthy Affiliate Premium Membership
  • Continued lessons added daily
  • Hosting for unlimited websites
  • Keyword & market research tool
  • Free technical support for all your sites

Affilorama Premium’s Tools Included:Wealthy Affiliate vs Affilorama Premium Package. Both are very similar, but with a few striking differences.

  • Market strength analysis—researching your chosen niche options for profitability
  • Keyword suggestion tool—offers competitive keywords for better rankings
  • Popover bar, for collecting email addresses from your visitors
  • Social Snoop is a cool tool that analyzes the rank of a page in relation to social media, which plays a big part in the success of a website.
  • Backlink Checker—keeps you up to date on other sites that are linking to your own.
  • Search Ranking Genie—Check to see where you are ranking in the search engine results using your keywords. This is a valuable tool to be included, as it is difficult to find it online for free.
  • Website health checker, for beginner webmasters, this is an important tool to have, and you will always find a need for it.
Compared to Wealthy Affiliate’s Included Tools:
  • Keyword & market research tool
  • Website Builder walks you through the process easily, and is optimized for quick and easy setup.
  • Link Tracking and cloaking.. this is an invaluable tool that will cost you extra anywhere else. With link tracking, you’ll always know how many clicks you’re getting, and you can mask each link to protect your affiliate accounts.
  • Rapid Writer content publisher analyzes all of your articles for grammar, spelling, and search engine optimization.
  • Website health checker, with customized recommendations and instructions for improvement.

While both systems have comparable tools and resources available to you, Affilorama’s Premium really does stand out in this department.  It is true that most of them can be found for free either online or as a plugin, but it is nice to have them all in one place for you.

The one tool that I feel I am really missing at Wealthy Affiliate is the Search Ranking tool. Knowing how your keywords are doing and what you’re ranking for is valuable information to have at your fingertips, and as a WA member, I have always had to use a different service for this task.

Otherwise, both systems really stack up with equally impressive resources available.

Cost Breakdown..

Affilorama Premium Cost:

$67 per month

$2.20 per day

Wealthy Affiliate Cost:

$47 per month or $359 per year

.98 cents per day

With these two companies running nearly identical programs, including tools and resources, Wealthy Affiliate wins with the lower yearly cost.  Until Affilorama Premium is offered at a discounted annual rate, I’d suggest Wealthy Affiliate every time.

Test-Drive Both Systems (almost) Free..

Affilorama’s Premium offers a 30-day trial period for only $1.  You can try it out for a month (a slightly limited version) and simply quit if you decide you don’t want it. Try Affilorama’s Premium for $1.

And of course, as always, Wealthy Affiliate offers a trial period-the Starter Membership with 10 free days, no credit card required, and only $19 for the first month.  This is a limited version as well, but you actually get two free websites to test run.  In the first day, you can have two full websites up and running.  It’s so easy..  Try out Wealthy Affiliate for free right now.

Essentially, you could sign up with both right now, at the same time, and then decide which one you like better.

Wealthy Affiliate vs Affilorama AffiloJetPack Five-in-One Package

Affilorama’s “AffiloJetPack”

Affilorama’s AffiloJetPack is an “all-in-one, everything-you-will-need to get your own affiliate website right now” package.  This is ideal for people who are completely new, don’t know how to do it, and don’t want to wait or put in all the work.  It is truly turn-key, but comes with a hefty price tag–$997 for the whole shebang.

The AffiloJetPack includes:

  • 5 websites (niche ideas and basics, content research & keywords, pre-built and pre-installed themes)
  • 1 year of hosting for 1 website included  (which means you’ll have to pay for hosting for the additional 4)
  • Email & autoresponders included, a hefty value automatically included.
  • Have at least your first site up and running in a single afternoon.
  • $997 one-time fee (approximately $200 per website package)

While I admit that I still have not tried AffiloJetPack personally, it sounds almost ideal.  Possibly too good to be true.  It is difficult to find true negatives about the company, because so many people are promoting them.

But after trying out the company’s other packages and being very pleasantly surprised with what I purchased, I’d put my trust into the AffiloJetPack.  Furthermore, since it involves a third party payment center, ClickBank, you are guaranteed your money back within 60 days no matter what.  Affilorama cannot reject a requested refund while Clickbank is involved in the transaction.  So it is a guaranteed, 100% risk free purchase.

Compared to Wealthy Affiliate..

Really there’s no comparison here.  These are two completely different offerings.

However, Wealthy Affiliate has one major difference, and benefit over all Affilorama packages:  unlimited websites and hosting included.  This means that after you get the ball rolling and get more experienced, you could start additional sites and have them hosted for nothing extra.  You could have 50 sites up and running for whatever you choose to do with them.

Essentially, you could buy the AffiloJetPack package with 5 different websites included, and get them all hosted with a monthly membership at Wealthy Affiliate.

Wealthy Affiliate charges $47 per month, but the best deal is by far $359 for a year.  The yearly rate works out to be .98 cents per day, for unlimited hosting and all of those perks previously mentioned.  Of course, most people want to test it out before committing to a full year, but most quickly recognize that value and pay for the year.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again..  With Wealthy Affiliate, you literally cannot go wrong.  I’m perfectly happy there, and I plan to stay there and take advantage of all the valuable resources they offer me.

But I think this comparison has proven that Affilorama is  a valid program that will get you where you want to go too.  You’ll learn what you need to learn, have help when you need it, with plenty of tools and resources at your immediate disposal as you discover the need for them as well.

With Wealthy Affiliate or Affilorama, you’d ultimately end up with your own money-making website.. You’d be creating your own long-term success with your very own affiliate marketing business.  I believe either system would be an excellent investment in your future.

Generating Income with a Blog

Ways of generating Income with a Blog..
Advertising makes the world go around, and the world of online blogging is no different.  People search for answers all day long, every single day. They go to Google and type in their questions, and those sites with the best answers (and most carefully chosen keywords) are displayed on the first page of Google’s search results.  Google’s first page is every blogger’s goal, because your chance of getting visitors is much better than anywhere else.

Here are the blogging basics you should know, including how you go about generating a good income with your blog, and how to test run your own for free before making a commitment.

What should you blog about?

Any topic you can imagine, there are people out there searching for it. You should pick a topic that you have some knowledge of, or are otherwise interested in. You’ll be writing In generating income with a blog, your biggest problem might just be what to blog about. for people who are also interested in your chosen subject, so your knowledge and/or passion on the subject should shine through and be contagious.

So if, for example, you’re a big fan of ferrets, and the entire idea of ferrets just fascinates you, then that’s something you could successfully blog about. You don’t have to be a ferret expert.  You’ll likely be doing a lot of research on the subject in order to write your blog posts, so ultimately you will become an expert on the subject.

But how can you make money with a blog about ferrets?

Generating Income with a Blog

Websites without actual products for sale, otherwise known as “blogs”, make their money with different forms of advertising.  But advertising only has a chance to work if there is an audience there to see it.  And most bloggers don’t get too much traffic if their posts are stuck on page 5 the search results.

Google’s “Page-One, Position-One” is the average blogger’s ultimate goal.  Get to page one on Google, desirably in that first spot, and you get the best possible number of visitors to your site. If you have visitors on your site, you have better chances for advertisements on your page being clicked.

It usually takes a few months of steady, productive activity on your site before your articles are allowed to be promoted to that first page.  Google wants to deliver fresh, new helpful content to searchers, and they need you to prove yourself.  Once you’re there, any efforts at generating an income with your blog will start to pay off.

While there are many different ways to make money with advertising on a blog, the most commonly used are affiliate marketing and pay-per-click advertising.

There is a great all-in-one Affiliate Content Publishing lesson at Udemy.  These are paid lessons, and this one costs about $15, but you can use coupon code: JAN15 to get 65% off, making it less $5.25 (good through 1/31/15)

Affiliate marketing with articles..

In generating income with a blog, affiliate partnerships have great potential and can become your main method of earning. Also called content marketing..  You, as a blogger, write helpful pages, posts, articles, about your chosen niche or topic, answering questions that people have and are actively searching for.  You will have many opportunities to include products or services for sale in these articles, and get a commission when people make a purchase based on your article.  You’re creating a partnership agreement with these businesses–you are their “affiliate” when you send referrals their way and they pay you for it.

To generate affiliate income with a blog about ferrets (going back to our previous example), you would likely want to seek out businesses who sell any ferret products or services. A quick search for exotic pet-related affiliate programs gave me PETCO, who offers 8-11% commission for any sale made to a customer referred by your website.

So, say you write a helpful article on your blog about fancy ferrets cages, with a link to where they can see some of these awesome three-story cages for sale. Your visitor clicks on that link, and ends up making a purchase at PETCO for the cage (or anything else while they’re there).. You get paid 8-11% of the total that customer spent.

Amazon Associates

Amazon has a great affiliate program that many, many people profit from.  Amazon has products on its site that could essentially be promoted on any type of blog with any subject.  They pay 4-15% for total sales referred by your blog site, even if it’s not the actual product you were initially promoting that they purchased..

Clickbank, Shareasale, & AsSeenonPC

Multi level marketing opportunities like ZipNadaZilch can help out in generating income with a blog.. It's free to join, and it's really just another article on your blog with a chance to earn you money.

There are also affiliate hubs– websites where you can sign into your account and choose from among many different affiliate programs right there in one spot.  You’ll essentially get paid from one site, instead of many.  Some of these sites include Clickbank, Shareasale, and AsSeenonPC.  The site itself expects a small commission from your earned commissions, but it can make the entire process a lot easier for newbies.

ZipNadaZilch & Multi-level Marketing Programs

There are also companies you can join that pay out the big commissions for getting others to join.  These are usually considered multi-level marketing companies–they pay their members to do their advertising for them.  There’s good potential here, if you find one that you like.  A lot of them are scams, or just otherwise unethical in their business practices.  A good risk-free business in this category is ZipNadaZilch-it is free to join, and free to promote.  You get $20 for each person you refer who signs up, at the very least.  Depending on which ZNZ department you choose to promote, you can get paid up to $130 per person.

(Check out this related article: What is ZipNadaZilch?)

You can have multiple affiliate links on your pages, and spread throughout your site, thereby increasing your chances for commissions paid to you.  The more helpful your writing is, the better chance you’ll have of landing on Google’s page one.  Needless to say, this will increase your traffic as well as your advertising clicks and you’ll get paid more.

With word-of-mouth advertising spreading around the internet like wildfire, most online businesses offer affiliate programs to encourage bloggers and webmasters to talk about their company and their products.  So you should have no trouble finding good affiliate partners to work with.  Just be sure to always choose an honest and trustworthy company to promote.  Your goal should be to help your readers–this means not directing them right into a scam just so you can make money.  The honest and trustworthy blogger is always more successful in the long run.

Pay Per Click Advertising..

With pay per click advertising, you’re allowing other people to choose and place the ads on your site.   Google AdSense is a free program to join.  They’ll give you a short code, and give you step-by-step instructions on how to put it on your site.  You get to choose where you want the ads to be and insert the code into that spot.  You don’t have to have any technical experience to do this, it’s pretty easy.

With Google AdSense, Google determines what your site is about, and places ads that are relevant to your readers.  Obviously, an ad about fishing poles will probably not get too many clicks on a site about ferrets.  The more relevant the ads, the higher chance your readers will click on them and you will get paid.

Google AdSense payment per click varies, but it usually ranges about .10-80 cents each time their ad gets clicked on your blog. This isn’t much, but if you focus on great content and get your visitor numbers up, these pennies could really ad up.  And you don’t have to do anything–you get paid whether or not there was an actual purchase made.

Aside from Google AdSense, a few other worthwhile PPC sites to check out are Qadabra, Clicksor and Chitika

Most bloggers choose to mix paid-per-click advertising with some type of affiliate marketing advertising on their sites.  The amount of posts and pages you accumulate over time allows plenty of space to get creative and try out different methods and programs.

A blog is a great way to generate a full time income and long term success..

How to try out your own blog for FREE!

If you’re serious about blogging, Wealthy Affiliate is a great way to try out your own blog before committing, to see if you like it.

Here’s how it will go.. When you sign up with Wealthy Affiliate, you’ll get a 7 day free trial. In those 7 days, you’ll get two free websites, and all the lessons you’ll need to know how to create your website and set it up to make money.

How much can I make with Wealthy Affiliate?

A lot of people use Wealthy Affiliate University to learn how to make money from other affiliates for their chosen niche, but if you choose to also be an affiliate for Wealthy Affiliate, here are the commission possibilities:

  • Starter (free) membership: You get paid $4 for each referral that signs up for their free starter membership.  You get paid for referrals even while you’re not a paying member.
  • Premium membership: $22.50 per referral
  • This is a recurring commission—you get it every month that your referral stays a member.
  • Plus, you have all the possibilities in the world of earning commissions from any other affiliate programs you decide to join with and promote on your websites (which you will have already learned how to do).

How much can I make with Empower Network?

  •  You can earn commission from any of the products IF you have purchased that product yourself.
  • If you’re paying $25 per month for the blogging system, your commission per referral would be $25.
  • If you’ve purchased the $297 Viral Blogging Academy videos, you can promote that package and get $297 commissions for your referrals.
  • This is the same all the way up to the $3,500 Master’s Retreat program. You pay for it, and you have the possibility to earn commission from it.

Keep in mind..

While you are promised 100% commissions, this isn’t exactly the case.

When you join, you’re joining a team of other members, including the one who referred you, and likely the one who referred him (or her).

For your first 6 sales, you only get credited for 3, while the other 3 go to that person who referred you in the first place. This equals out to be 50% for your first 6 sales.

After that, you get 4 out of 5 sale commissions–the 5th one gets credited to your referrer. This equals out to be 80% commission.

So, if you’re paying:

$25 a month for the Viral Blogging system… Your commission will be equal to $12.50 each, for the first six sales (50%), and $20 each every time after (80%).

$100 a month for the Viral Blogging Academy… Your commission will equal out to be $50 per referral for the first six sales (50%), and $80 for each referral after (80%).

This is the same routine with every commission you ever make, as long as you’re a paying member.

Now, if you decide to go further, and buy the $500, $1,000, and $3,500 packages, you get to promote those and earn that amount in commissions back to you—minus those that you send up to your sponsors in your “group”.

 Does Wealthy Affiliate Really Work?

100% yes. If you follow the guidelines Wealthy Affiliate teaches you, you cannot lose.

Wealthy Affiliate gives you the knowledge and skills you need to grow a successful, long-term, online home business, and they give you these things in a “For Beginner’s” way.  You’re also equipped with all the resources you’ll need to do it.

The Wealthy Affiliate service is something that works for its members, and they are proud to promote it.

Does Empower Network Really Work?

Yes, if you know what you’re doing.  You really have to know how to market your “product”, and in new, unique ways to compete with an abundance of other Empower Network Affiliates.

There are a lot of people jumping on this bandwagon, because there are many affiliates that claim to have become millionaires from it.  The commissions possibilities are (or can be) very high, after you’ve purchased those high-ticket items.

But most people who join Empower Network are not Internet Marketing and SEO experts, and they end up failing or giving up rather quickly.

 Wealthy Affiliate Complaints..

  •   That $47 a month cost is my complaint.  For a beginner just starting out, that’s a lot of money.
  • The training and knowledge you get from being a Premium member is just information, after all.  Information is free all over the Internet.

For my first few months, these were my complaints.  Even though I was learning so much and perfectly happy with the product and service, this was expensive for me.  And at the end of the second month, I thought I had learned everything I needed to know, so I cancelled my membership.

It took me all of two weeks to learn that I couldn’t live without it.  I already had multiple websites that were completely covered with with Wealthy Affiliate’s managed hosting, which would normally cost me way more than $50 anywhere else.  My membership also included my free domain email service, the awesome keyword research tool, linking tool, plus I was missing out on all of these valuable webinars they host weekly.

As far as the classroom lessons, these are invaluable.  There is a lot involved in marketing online and SEO and working with affiliates.  The Internet scatters this all around, whereas Wealthy Affiliate tells you everything you need to know in a step-by-step fashion, in the order of which you need to know it.

And another big reason I decided to return after those two weeks was that commissions were already coming in.  The service paid for itself much more quickly than I thought it would.

 Empower Network Complaints..

  • The preloaded blog that you get when you join Empower Network is not yours.  You could spend a lot of time and money designing something great that you’re really proud of, and have it taken away from you.  If you ever decide to leave Empower Network, they keep the blog, all the work you’ve done, and they have every right to hand it over to someone else.
  • When you join with Empower Network, you’re teaming up with a group of others ahead of you.  One thing that this company is infamous for is extreme pressure on newbies to continue purchasing the next products up the list.  Google it..  you will find some personal horror stories about verbally-abusive upselling within these “teams”.
  • If you buy the $25 blogging system, they are known to hound you to purchase the training, and then the $500 Costa Rica package, and on and on.  Of course, your own sponsor doesn’t get commissions for all the products that you haven’t purchased yet.  Also, if you’re not eligible to earn commissions all the way up to the top, then the rest of the group suffers from missing commissions.
  • Ethics is not high on the list for most Empower Network affiliates.  I don’t think this is a business you would feel good about promoting.  Their are hoards of complaints against them for their advertising methods, including spamming.  This has also resulted in all Empower Network links being banned from Facebook for a long time, and the Viral Blogging system no longer has any high Google rankings, which is the only thing that the Viral Blog is good for–getting ranked on page one of Google.Wealthy Affiliate University vs Empower Network's pyramid scheme..
  • The Empower Network pyramid scheme..  There is no actual product for sale.  If you’re at all familiar with those chain letters that used to circulate through the mail in the 80’s and 90’s, you can easily relate.  You get a dollar in the mail with a list of about 50 people or so.  You were told to add your name to the list, send 50 copies to 50 new people, and include one dollar in each.   Each of those 50 people would send out 50 each, and on and on.  With your name on the list, the dollars would flow in from a huge amount of people.  This was the idea, anyway.   This is what a pyramid scheme is, and it is the entire basis of the Empower Network system.  It’s actually quite genius.  But the problem is that, at some point, your name falls off the list.  So what then will happen to Empower Network?  That’s a lot of money to invest in eventual bankruptcy.

Should I Join Wealthy Affiliate or Empower Network?

Honestly, there is good potential to make good money with Wealthy Affiliate, Empower Network and many of their competitors.  As with most things in life, it depends on you.

If you follow the steps you learn in the Wealthy Affiliate University classroom, and actually give consistent effort, you will succeed.  Not only will you make money, but you will have started a long-term home business that you can be proud of.

And just like most people who go through the steps and actually achieve their success, they can’t wait to start a second and third online business with different specialties.

Others need to be assured that what they’re getting into is not a scam, and that it will make them money.   So if you believe in the program you choose, then your trust will shine through and others will trust it too.
I think it all comes right down to what you think about what you’re selling. You need to choose a service that you actually believe in, so you can feel good about promoting it to others.

I would personally choose Wealthy Affiliate every time.  Check it out for yourself with 10 free days.  There’s absolutely no charge to join, and no credit card required.

In comparing Wealthy Affiliate and Empower Network, I'd suggest you sign up with Wealthy Affiliate everytime.

Get Weekly Paychecks vs. Wealthy Affiliate

A Comparison Review of Wealthy Affiliate and Motor Club of America (Get Weekly Paychecks)

There are so many “get rich quCan you make more money with Wealthy Affiliate or Get Weekly Paychecks?ick” schemes out there, and I jumped in head first.  I was determined to find one that actually worked. I really wanted to try out those that made the big promises. Some of these guys are very convincing in assuring you how easy it is to make one or two thousand each week with their program.

While a lot of the money-making systems out there might not be considered MLM, or multi-level marketing companies, they have cleverly structured their businesses this way.  They market to customers to market for them.  And what product are they marketing?  Themselves.

While I was doing my research (and I did a lot of research!), I was overly excited about the prospect of making quick riches.  I will admit that I was starting to spend all this money in my head! But when I got started, I realized how lacking I was in all aspects. I knew how to get around online, and how to post to Facebook, but this wasn’t going to cut it. Getting ads out there to actually reach large volumes of people was going to cost me advertising dollars that I didn’t want to spend on an unknown program.

Throughout all the digging I did into the top affiliate marketing programs, I found two that hooked me:  Get Weekly Paychecks and Wealthy Affiliate. Here is my own personal experience with both of these companies.

Get Weekly Paychecks Review

Out of the highest commission affiliate programs I found during my research, Get Weekly Paychecks stood out from the rest. Get Weekly Paychecks is the affiliate program for the Motor Club of America. They charge $20 a month to join their motor service, which is similar to Triple A’s roadside assistance. So, for the $20 a month, I actually did get a service, even though it was incredibly overpriced.  They also offer you a customized website with all of their content pre-loaded for an extra $20 a month.

So it’s $40 to get started, and $20 every subsequent month.

While MCA is technically selling the motor club service, this company’s real business is its affiliate program. They pay you commission for referring other people to join just like you did.

They give you tools you need for marketing—links and flyers. It’s up to you to find unique and creative ways to get your links out there.

Does MCA Really Work?Wealthy Affiliate vs Get Weekly Paychecks Reviews..

It might seem too good to be true, but I actually did make a little bit of money with MCA and Get Weekly Paychecks, and could see potential for more. Probably not thousands of dollars a week more like they promise, but it’s certainly not a scam.

It did take a lot of work to make those few commissions I made, though. They make it sound so easy when they say: Copy-Paste-Post.  It’s all based on advertising, and with so many other people promoting the same business and posting Motor Club of America reviews, you have to really be creative to get your links out there in unique ways.

And to make those big bucks, it’s clear that you’d have to pay out a lot for advertising fees also. There are only so many free ads you can post online without this becoming borderline spamming.

Promoting the Motor Club of America wasted too much time for not enough money.. Wealthy Affiliate vs MCA, or Get Weekly Paychecks.

I was also spending way too much time trying to get my links out there—it turned into a full-time job. I ended up only doing this for about two months. I think my downfall with this company was that I didn’t really understand the service I was promoting—but was just doing what I was told.

It feels like another pyramid scheme.  The only product you’re getting is the motor club service, which is not even a good value at all.

Because of this, my heart just wasn’t in it.  And, as I realized soon after, this passion that I was lacking is absolutely necessary to do this job.

You have to truly believe in the company you’re promoting, or it just feels like work, and you probably won’t be very good at it.

Wealthy Affiliate Review

I thought Wealthy Affiliate was just going to be another one of these network marketing sites, and to be honest, it sort of is. They want you to promote their business, and they pay you for referring new members.

They are, however, one of the highest commission affiliate programs I found. The monthly commission for each person you refer is a $22.50, and this is recurring commission, which means that as long as that person you referred stays a member, you get $22.50 every month. And that’s just one person, one referral.

But this is not really even the reason I chose to stay and pay the monthly fee (because it is not a free service). From the minute I signed up, I was given the two free websites that I was promised, and ten starter lessons on how to build my sites. Now keep in mind, I was a total newbie in regard to starting and running a website.  But by my third day, I had an entire website up and running!

I can’t begin to tell you how exciting this was! The lessons made it so easy for even me to understand it. You can read through them, or take the video tutorial (I watched the videos). I was guided step-by-step through the process: Click here, click there, this option means this and this option means that. I got to see and hear, how and why every step needed to be done.

And what they were teaching me was not how to promote Wealthy Affiliate. I was being taught how to make money from a website entirely of my own creation.

My first site was all about adult acne and the products and techniques I used to prevent it in my own life. It was nothing special, but it was mine—I made it with my own thoughts and expertise. And Wealthy Affiliate taught me how to profit from it. The idea of my own long-term success was drilled into my lessons. Their plan was to set me up for my own success. And it was literally just like that! I had my own little home business. My life has been completely different ever since.

Wealthy Affiliate Cost

Now, down to the nitty-gritty—my Wealthy Affiliate complaint. Out of all of the available Wealthy Affiliate reviews, complaints are completely lacking. Obviously people who want commission for referrals don’t want to talk bad about them. But I’m going to be straight with you—what I didn’t like was that monthly fee that comes along with it.

You get your free ten-day starter account, and then the first month is $19The second month and each subsequent month you’re a member will run you $47.

This is not exactly cheap, and I’m trying to make money, not spend it.

But you have to understand that I honestly got that money back so quickly. My commissions paid for my second month before I was in my second month. This basically made it a free service (with profit).  And I was still only a beginner, soaking in their daily Wealthy Affiliate University lessons. Like I said, they do offer that free starter account, and you get a lot with this free account. You have access to everything you need to get started. You can even start making money before you pay anything.

Here’s what made me decide to stay for that second and third month.. After only a few weeks, I made my first few commissions that completely covered the cost of my first and second months, and all this came from one tiny little Facebook ad. I quickly realized how valuable my membership was.

What’s Included with Wealthy Affiliate?

Learn Affiliate Marketing with Wealthy Affiliate, vs doing what you're told with Get Weekly Paychecks.

But even if you’re still concerned about the cost (to which I don’t blame you), you can still try it out for free and back out if you don’t want it. And if you do decide to quit after your starter period, or even after your first month, you can walk out of there with your two free websites that you created and a lot of new knowledge. You’ll just need to find new hosting for your sites, that’s all. So you get a lot out of even a free membership with Wealthy Affiliate. Here’s why I think you’ll choose to stay anyway:

  • Free to join.  It doesn’t cost anything at all to sign up and create your website. It’s completely free—no credit card necessary at all.
  • While you’re signed up for your free starter account, you will get to create your two free websites with guided walkthroughs each step of the way.
  • You’ll get free hosting for as many websites as you want, including your two free sites that are included.
  • You’ll get free access to Jaaxy—one of the best keyword search tools out there.

Best of all, within two days of lessons, you’ll finally learn all those little secrets to making money online. Before I ever paid a dime, I was told about all the ways I could make money, and was even taught how to do this myself. This is what really earned my devotion to this company. I am confident that after only a few days you’ll see the value in the Wealthy Affiliate service and decide to stay. And at the very least, it’ll happen after you see that first commission come in.

I suggest you try it out for free right now. Get your free website up and running at
